Beachcomber

Where to eat?

Beachcomber Bistro

This can be found in the slightly quieter part of town, just opposite the The Olive Press and Nafsica.

This has a classy Bistro feel and makes a great venue if you're looking for somewhere a little more up market, although the prices compare favorably with other tavernas in the town.

You can sit out and watch the sun set over the beach whilst enjoying quality cooked food.

Our favourite starters were the brushetta along with the stuffed mushrooms, main courses range from pasta dishes, chops to steaks with real roast potatoes.

All the food is freshly cooked to order and Sue the owner will ensure that you are well looked after. A place to celebrate those special occasions.

The view is fantastic, the decor modern, clean and a welcome break from the Greek taverna and cuisine. Some may say its too British well we don't care the ambience and food was superb and well worth a visit, we bet you go back more than once?

No Greek music either!

Dishes include :-

  • Bruschetta with basil and tomatoes

  • Mushrooms stuffed with cheese in a kind of welsh rarebit way

  • Pear rocket and parmesan salad

  • Greek salad

  • Green salad

  • Pork medallions in dijon cream

  • Pork medallions with blue cheese

  • Fillet steak

  • Perch Parcel

  • Chicken stir fry

  • Meatballs

  • Lamb tagine
