Tourist Info

Ericousa

Ericousa is the the far right of the islands Othoni, Mathraki and Ericousa that you can see from the beach at San Stefanos.

The journey starts at San Stefanos harbour and you travel along the coast before passing through the lovely caves of canal d'amour in Sidari.

Ericousa offers you the opportunity of relaxing day on the remote sandy beach, a walk to the old harbour on the far side of the island and time for lunch at the coffee shop/cafe or hotel.

A walk up to the helicopter base gives you a grand view of the whole island and a great place to take photos.

The harbour usually has some large yachts or cruisers to see and you may even be lucky enough to see the dolphins from the boat on the way home.

Make sure you ask for a copy of the walks map when you book, its free and will help you to see more of the island. We managed to complete the walk twice whilst we were there, so its not too far.

The island has very few facilities so be prepared for the lack of a sun bed and shade.

The only places to eat were a small hotel by the beach and a small cafe/coffee shop. The hotel served a reasonable lunch and had a nice cool bar out of the sun where we enjoyed a cold beer whilst we waited for the boat to take us back.
