San Stefanos news and views / Changes since 2019

Visiting in June for the first time since 2019 and we're expecting things to have changed and to be more expensive. I'm aware that the Little Prince has changed hands and there's a new place opposite Olympia but that's about the limit of my knowledge. What am I missing? Any pointers much appreciated.

Well they've worked incredibly hard for many years and deserve a rest. Will the restaurant continue under someone else or will it close down?

The BBC refuse to label Hamas terrorists after its attacks on Israel is a disgrace.
It’s time that this useless government sorted them out.

Same old, same old Charlie. Apparently the BBC report the news as it is and leave the listener/reader/watcher to decide if they're terrorists or not. Okay I'll go along with that but what about consistency? When it suits, BBC presenters are more than happy to spout their view which clearly bends one way or t'other and leaving us in no doubt whose side their on or what view they have.

God it looks wet. I've never known weather like that in the day in June. The odd storm yes but those were mainly overnight.

Well Jimbo I've downloaded it and will read it by the pool in Majorca in June. I think a book about Corfu would be best read in the summer while in San Stef but we're not going this year as we have a number of postponed trips in the diary already from last year, so Majorca it is.

Sidari was a dead quiet little village when we visited there in 1989. Really quaint with traditional taverna's and a few bars. Lovely.

Drove through it on the way to San Stef in 2004 and there was a Mcdonalds (if memory serves), a one-way system and hordes of bars and eateries. How things change.
