Have i been in dfferent place to you guys !!!!   ???

i have never yet seen anybody selling said lighters etc or any flower ladies !!!!!

Only saw one guy that seemed to walk the beach and all the hotels trying to sell sunglasses and DVD's, though i didn't see him sell any !!!!

Maybe these people only come out in the height of the season. I am usually there at beginning and end of season.

I have no pet hates, i just love everything about it !!!!!   :D

Back to the mexican then !!!!!

Am friends with Pavlos (Zorbas) and he has told me he has the old mexican site, not sure if thats rented or what.

He is planning a Pizzeria there but not sure when it will be up and running. I imagine it would be of a higher class than Town pizza !!!!!

Also Jenny & Leo from Romanza are opening a new restaurant (have now left Romanza) which is going to be left a T junction not far up opposite Yiannis Grill.

you must be there when we arrive i think.

We fly in on May 8th about lunchtime, stay at Teresa's - our usual haunt.

6 females - plus meeting up with 2 more couples when there, so quite a gathering, shouldnt be too hard to spot us !! ???

Just a word of warning......if using a spray repellent.

my 2 friends last year decided to spray repellent just before leaving apartment, then proceeded to re-inact the ice skating scene from BAMBI !!!!!!!!   ;D

althugh hilarious to watch, it could have caused injuries !!!!

so do not spray repellent inside as it makes the tiled floor VERY slippery !!!!!!!

i am sticking to my gel !!!!!!

Good tips !!!!

Also: plasters and antisceptic cream
        painkillers / tablets - as we all know chemists are few and far between so its always best to take plenty with you. i had a tooth infection last year and used all my supply up but found many people helped me out and donated ibruprofen for me !!!! thankfully, i only had to bear it for last few days of holiday but would have been terrible without enough tablets.

Also some comfy shoes / flipflops. Most of us, girls more so probably, but new shoes and flip flops for hols and if not broken in you get nasty blisters or rubbed skin, not nice !!!!

hi guys,

I know of 2 up and coming restaurants from speaking with Greek friends throughout the winter.

One is Pavlos, from zorbas is opening the old Mexican eyesore as a Pizzeria.....don't know how soon though.

Also Jenny and Leo from Romanza are opening one called Mythica...i think !!!!
This is going to be just round to the left at bottom of main street, about opposite Yiannis Grill, i remember an empty building there last September, again who knows if they will be open this season !!!

Will let you all know when return May 22nd.  :'(

Thanks for the welcome back guys !!!

We always stay at Tereza's , we met Jules and Roy last Sept....was nice to put some faces to names.

I have always had nice weather in May, its more bearable and there are no WASPS !!!! hoorah !!!!

Yes i wil report back, as i think there will be couple of changes as have heard of 2 new restaurants for this year, but knowing our Greek friends they will only start working on them as the season starts !!!!

mmmmmm i wonder if the "bus stop" has still got its wrap still around it !!!!!!! ha ha.  ???

We also arrive at lunch time instead of late at night, but we have a couple of friends with us that have not been before, so i expect we will just wander and chill by the pool in the afternoon.

The first evening will prob be a tame one, as we have a bit of a reunion going on with some guys from last year, and they arrive at 11-12pm so we will prob have a nice meal at Zorbas and then back to Tereza for a drink and wait for our friends

Jules - the reunion is Sarah & Brian, and the 2 guys..Nick and Dave, so with our 6 it will be quite a gathering this time !!!!! Poor leo and Fanis !!!!

Hi all,

Couldn't get on here for a while, forgot my password and they never sent the activation email for me to reset it !!!! but hey, am back now................

and seeng as i am back on it must be time to say ....................82 sleeps........................!!!!!!!

Ha ha, going for 2 weeks in May this year, normally do a week in may then a week in Sept, did 2 weeks in Sept last year as well....not sure will be able to back a second time tho this year  :(

Oh well, not long to go now.

Have missed reading all this banter on here !!!!!   ;D

Lets get this one started early then !!!!

Have booked already, got 2 weeks in May at Tereza...bargain too !!!

6 of us girlies this time, will be a blast !!!

Not sure why, but only got the offer of B & B this time as well which makes it even more of a bargain.

Flight times have changed from Birmingham too, which now means we get there at lunch time insted of 11pm so we get more time there....bonus !!!

Cant agree more Jules, nothing better after a mad night if you cant face breakfast, get some vitamins in you !!!!

I made a new one that Shane is calling The Sarah, Orange,Banana and pear.....divine !!!

Shame about the wasps though, had to take last drink there away as a really bad wasp day, but they didnt mind at all.

Hope to see them there next year as well, such a friendly, wlcoming couple.

its finally here, fly tomorrow on 2.30pm from Birmingham !!!!!!!!!!!!!   ;D ;D ;D

cant wait to get there, and the temps look fantastic too !!  hopefully catch a few of you about while there, i know i am going to meet JulesT as she is staying at same place, so to all those on the way there......ENJOY !!!!!

Yes, 3 weeks today for me too !!!!! i can't wait now, had a very wet weekend in Devon last week , which was nice to be away but just made me pine for SS even more !!!!!

buying the final bits and pieces and doing insurance is always the time i think it hits that i am actually going !!!!
