San Stefanos Online ~ North West Corfu

yeah just Thomson......and very often booked up very early for the year......but as when we booked it.....keep checking thomson site daily before you book it, as the prices seem to change from day to day !!!  we booked our 2 weeks for this may and got it for about £420 and the day after it was £520 !!! so be careful !!

while over there for carnival, i heard there is to be a new restaurant in the village. the site is the old bar 38 place, its going to be a chinese.

i know this causes a big divide with some people saying you go to greece to eat greek food, yes i agree and i love the greek food, however we all enjoy a chinese at home now and then so whats the difference when there, personally i think it will be nice to have another option. And its good that the building not staying empty, and someone is having a go at something different, so i for one will be trying it out.

yes Jules, we noticed that but Leo was adamant it was all B & B, this why we are finding it all bit confusing.....i wonder if Thomson have not updated the contract yet   i may send Leo an email but its quite difficult to explain it !!!!

Hi all,

Having just returned from a glorious San Stefanos and Teresa Appts i thought i would update you all, as i see questions being asked on here.

Leo and family have decided NOT to go independent next year and are staying with Thomsons.......however Leo has told us it is going to be ALL on B&B basis................however looking at Thomson site for 2012 there are still various options available so i am not too clear on this.....will  update if i find anything else out.

Prices are more expensive than this year it seems and i wonder if this will stop people from going which would be a great shame for Leo and family......i hope they drop a little in the coming weeks.

We had yet another fantastic time and the weather was the best for whole 2 weeks we have had in May, i actually got mistaken for being Greek one day due to my tan.....ha ha !!!


Hope this is useful to anyone, and for those staying with Leo soon, perhaps you could tell him that Thomsons website is not as he thinks and maybe we can get it cleared up so we can all get booking again !!!

You should be ok at both resort and the airport - i buy ciggies and the prices are the same.

the big supermarket up the top of the main street called Aspa have most ranges of cigs and tobacco,  but try Maria's big gift shop she tends to have more in stock from what i can see.  Maria's is not far past Little Prince on the road towards the beach , its the nicest gift shop too i think.

Not sure of prices of tobacco, my cigs work out just over half price to here so prob same

i HATE wasps - i always get pestered by them, and yes i do the English Wasp Dance !!!!

They do hang round Tereza pool a lot, but hopefully wont be too bad, just have to head to beach if they do !!!! 

thats the only thing i hate bout Sept - we also go in May and there are no wasps then - bliss !!!!!
