Sounds like we going at same time, May 8th.
We have been waiting and watching the Euro as well, will hang on as long as possible before changing money i think !!!!

Stayed at Romanza twice before. The rooms are basic but kept clean, dont remember how often maids in tho. dont recall problems with towels.
They have a pay phone in reception, which wasnt expensive to call home.
There is no kettle in the room so advise take travel one with you. there was a fridge in the room and i think there were glasses. We took lunch and drinks back from the bar, and returned the plates etc later.
It is a steep climb back up to Romanza, but well worth the climb. The views are stunning and the hotel and the staff are great, food is of a high standard too.
Am sure you will enjoy your holiday and end up returning year after year.

i thinks its good for a man to wear bright lively colours, instead of boring black blue or grey !!!!

have faith guys, have been the last 2 years in both May and Sept, and have always had good weather in May, in fact in 2007 my tan was better in May than Sept, tho can be quite breezy.
This year going for 2 weeks in May so double - whammy !!!!!
Usually in70's , warm enough to lie out ALL day and not be unbearable.

Terrible really, we wish our lives away counting down for holidays....only to wish that those 2 weeks then last forever !!!!!!!

I have been the last 2 Mays (and Septembers !!!) and have to say its really nice in May.
May 2006 i had a better tan after one week than i did that September, last year was also good. It can be a bit breezy but that just makes it easier to lie out in sun all day !!!
Also, the island is very pretty at this time, with blossoming trees and flowers, its like Spring.
The village is also just coming back to life for the new season so everyone is gearing up for the summer and glad to be back at work i think. i always find it nice to be some of the first visitors.
Am sure you will enjoy yourselves.

No Sue, we are lucky enough to have him as a friend now and have the pleasure of his company at Teresa's and his wonderful family.
Its all in good humour, no one can deny he is stunning but we genuinely adore his family and Teresa'a, its always a fantastic holiday that we spend with them.
