Latest info:- the juice bar is open. I seem to remember someone asking about it.
Is it still Kerry's mum & dad running it?
It would be great to see Shane and Sandra again.
The juices at the juice bar are lovely and freshly made each time.
Don't know at the moment. I am allergic to healthy foodstuffs, but I'll try to find out.
The juices are always freshly made that is why I love them.
Hi Shane and Sandra are indeed back from Australia.
Thats good. Thanks for finding out.
Nice one!! Thanks!!

Latest news:-
Yiannis grill room (opp. Athens bar) does "home" deliveries as well as as take away. Might be handy if you have had a "bad" drink. Strange how it's always the last one!

If only! Well not Somerset as it wouldn't be much use to me here in Lincolnshire! LOL.

Fingers crossed that he'll still have lamb on the spit. Might get a post on that but much tastier doing personal research!

I'll ask! The delivery charge might be a bit expensive. Anyway it will be cooled down a bit by the time you get it. Ooh Arrh.

"Please be warned, on departure from corfu, because of health and safety, the airport will charge anyone with more than 20kgs per case.they are current asking for 11euros per kilo over the 20.they dont tell you that at the welcome meeting!!!!!!"

Found this on another forum. Not experienced this on previous trips. Might have to ration the return trip Metaxa!!

Are you sure it's H&S as the weight limit is usually much higher for that!
I have found that it is the Airlines doing this, Thomas Cook especially, unless you pre-pay for 23-25 Kg in advance,
depending on the airline.
I will try and research this one!!

It doesn't seem that long ago when 22kg was the norm. I think it is just airlines trying to get more money out of us all. Isn't the maximum in omne case something like 35kg?

all the airlines seem to be at this carry on now
so dont give them the opportunity to rip you off
change your cases or bags to light weight luggage,
it is possible to get large cases or holdalls that weigh around 1-1.5 kgs.
we purchased two 70ltr holdalls from tesco for £10 each which we took to tenerife at easter
which were excellent and well under our baggage allowance of 15kgs each.
another thing we have started to do is buy toiletries at the airport once you have cleared security and able to put them in hand luggage.
therefore this cuts down on your checked in allowance.

It was 32kg maximum but have read that they are bringing it down to 22 or 23 kilos for health and safety of the baggage handlers. Read this on Thomsons website some tiome ago.
