Not to far from Mythos at all. They do a Spit Roast Lamb on a Saturday night which has had good reviews. We are going to try there this year for the first time as our favourite Spit Roast Lamb taverna (Yiannis) has now changed hands

Walk from your apartment and past the pool to the road outside. Turn left and walk up a slight incline to the T-junction (150m) turn left and you have the Supermarket then the Taverna Paradise(25m) . It is a really good friendly place with good food and a great family to tend to your needs.

I too can recommend the Paradise. We have eaten there many times, the first when  the guys that now run it were little boys running about the place while the father looked on. He now looks on by sitting at a table with his father. Very much a family affair and it doesn't take much for the dancing display to begin. I'm sure you will enjoy it.

Paradise is fun - you will be well looked after - we were just slightly disappointed with the last meal there,
but previous to that it was always good. The guys there are really great!!

would totally agree Tony. We stayed at the Efi for several years and used the Paradise a lot. We always found the welcome amazing and the boys tremendous fun. They took care of our teenage twins and many a night  (or early morning) brought them back from the Condor. Unfortunately the last three years we have been up there on at least one night because we feel that we should and have had somewhat disappointing meals. Not dreadful by any means but just below par for the resort. We have had some breakfasts there as we drive out to St George and they have been much better. Having said that .... the prawn cocktails there are brilliant! lots of real huge fresh prawns around the glass and its always tremendous value for money.

Thanks - I was worried it was just us - maybe a different chef - prawn cocktails - yes FANTASTIC - but some meals a bit too average,
anyway - lets hope for a few impartial reports before we travel!!

We regulary go to the Paradise when in San Stef, one piece of advice, the portions care large and ca be too much so make sure you are hungry before you go .Some peole order two starters rather than starter and main meal. Food is good especially the lamb on Saturday night.  :)

Was looking forward to the lamb at Yiannis but seeing as he is not there we will probably try Paradise for there spit roast lamb instead. Do they do the spit roast lamb with roast potatoes and mint sauce?

All the women keep talking about a spit roast. To experienced forum posters such as Don and TonyCo1 am I missing something here? Or in the words of Frankie Howerd - oo er missus, a funny thing happened to me on the way to the forum! Just in case you missed it - TWO WEEKS TO GO!!!
