Oh how I wish I'd bought some euros a month ago when the rate was 1.181. It has been dropping steadily since then and this morning
 it is 1.138.

A bit overcast yesterday, but no wind, so the sea was nice and calm.

The digger and truck were out this morning clearing away the seaweed that has been deposited the last week. You can't fight nature, but you can clear it away!  ;D

So the resort is getting a bit busier now....Lots in Condor on Tuesday night for the Rod Stewart tribute. I think it's the same guy as last year, and he's pretty good!

And last night was Greek night at both Tereza's and 2 Stars, so plenty of choice for either modern or traditional entertainment!

Very sorry for no write up lately.....was not on line for a few weeks at the shop, and got out of the habit! :)

We are now in full swing of the season, and the resort is definitely getting busier!

We've had some lovely weather, although a couple of windy days last week, and a thunderstorm yesterday afternoon did clear the beach for a while!

Only taverna not yet open is Ozzy Oil, but Nikos is due any day, so they will soon be hard at work too.

All the tavernas on the beach are doing a great trade during the daytime, and Chilly Chili, Fantasea, and Beachcombers have some great el fresco dining at night.

Lots of Greek dancing going on at Zorba, Little Prince, and Nafsika, and the Greek Nights at Tereza, Romanza and 2 Star are very popular.

The new travel agency has also opened, where Lubrano's was, opposite 2 Stars, and is owned by Sophia, the sister of Spiro from Bar 38. She's done a great job completely changing the building from a grill to an office!

Another changeover today, so more people due.....Summer is here!

Hi Harry. I've been tagging on a post in the out and about forum, 'beware' post. We have a few more days left. Very busy now, most restaurants full. Condors acts are Supremes, rod Stewart, 60's70's lady singer. Other bars have live acts on various nights. Been very hot, had the Mistral wind last week. 33 degrees most days. Sea has been beautiful and tepid. So all in all, another fantastic holiday! :)

I think some people use Facebook, which is a shame. I like the website here. :)

I just hope Jackie and her husband at Hippopots are far too busy to give us daily updates on what's happening.

I'm guilty of using FB, it's just more instant when I can get news and chat to people on my mobile rather than having to be sat at my computer but I do like a good old nosey on here every now and again!

Facebook is fine for pictures of your breakfast. This forum is better, I think, for people wanting information.

Unfortunately, there are TWO Facebook groups, each with different rules. This results in lots of double-postings, and is, in my opinion, daft.

I'm curious to know what it says on the notice board to the right of the sunbeds outside Waves. Does it say "No Parking beyond this point"
or "Sunbeds available to Waves customers only"? Just wondering :-\

Ta. Love that end of the beach. Great food, and not so busy.
