Busy on the Beach

Virtually no beach today with the Ostria gale making the sea appropriate for surfers!

Just been for a coffee in waves and watched the surfers. The sea was coming within a few feet of us but san stef still enjoyable and a lot warmer than home!

The start of the week and the beach looking very good today, slight breeze, blue skies, gently lapping sea.  Around 25c.

Hi are the sunbeds out officially today there are some out now but not that many if they our out how much.

Plenty of sunbeds outside waves and a single row outside Havana. The beach has been shrunk so much this year that only a single row is possible for now!

Just enjoying a couple of beers at Tsaros now and about to wonder down for dinner at Nafsika! I'll write a full update in a couple of days.

Beach is looking slightly different to last year due to the winter storms but hopefully is now starting to return to normal.

The trouble is it now seems to get smaller each year - and doesn't seem to get back to what it was....
Lets hope it doesn't go like Arillas, the Beach used to be massive 30 years ago...... I've never seen it so small.

Tony, your quote "it seems to get smaller each year, I've never seen it so small".  When we were in Tenerife a couple of weeks ago, Linda confided to Mrs Wasp that this was indeed the case!! It happens in old age!!
