Hi Jade2001 and welcome to the forum!
There are lots of recent posts showing prices from some of the regular S S holidaymakers and Forum members.
Roughly, Beer is €2.50 a pint, meals are around €4.00 for Breakfast,
and lots of places do a set menu, mainly 2 courses for approx €9.00, so not too bad.
The Condor still charges €2.50 for beer or a short & mixer.

Tsaros apt's - very nice avarage Apt's, reasonably good views over the bay.
Up the hill (Killer hill we call it), but not actually too far and you soon get used to it.
You will enjoy them!
Tsaros bar is really friendly and you can use his pool and have breakfast there!
Just below his bar is Nondas Apt's and he also has a nice Pool.

Basically, you can use any pool in the resort, (except Delfino which is reserved for their clients - who pay a bit extra),
as long as you spend money in their respective poolbars!
But the fantastic Beach is just 5 mins walk away as well.

You will find many changes from 1991, and it's now much more built-up but in a lovely way.
In 1991, (and I have many pictures still), it was more about the area around the Golden Beach Hotel, Nafsika Hotel, Waves Taverna,
Manthos Taverna, (Possibly Pandora's Music Bar - which later moved over to the Main Street as The Condor).
Also Margarita's, the old Mini Market, with Olympia (I think it was built then), Barras, Sunset and a few other Taverna's.
Now there is lots more choice and S S is the better for it.

You will remember the Old Kantina on the beach, then an old converted motor-home,
later changed for for a converted caravan, which sold drinks - ice cream - snacks!
This finally met it's demise in the winter storms this year and is no longer there.

However, there are a choice of beach bars / restaurants on the beach so no problem!

Have a great Holiday, it would be really nice if you can do a little report for us and let us know if you like the new San Stefanos!!

When are you going?
We will be there in 2 weeks time - once more!!
Yammas
Tony and Linda
