All the best, folks!
It's started well for me: My son got a negative PCR test result at 1a.m. and my old friend, Trinidadian director Horace Ove, has been given a knighthood. We worked together on "A Hole In Babylon" for the BBC, and "The Orchid House" for Channel 4. Alas, Horace has advanced dementia, but is apparently pleased to bits.
I am very hopeful that in the next few months the pestilence which has skewed our lives for two years will finally be reduced to a nuisance. My main ambition now is to finish my private eye novel "Almond - and the deep blue sea, " set in London and Agios Stefanos, by May, ready for beach reading. I finished the first draft of chapter four yesterday.
