It just arrived-now I can go to bed happy -well apart from wondering if the taxi will remember to pick us up at 5am! Ah, the joys of being a whittle-ar*e, as my mum used to call me! ;)
Thanks for putting up with me, I don't have a smart phone so can't update from SS (unless I can wrestle Hubby's off him, when he's doing his fantasy NFL team! ) but I'll tell you what it was like when I get back (assuming we remember to fill in our UK forms...)

The beer prices in Kalimi ranged from 3.50 to 4.50 euros, just wondered what the prices were in San Stefanos.  Only visited by car for the day so didn’t buy any.

Double Diamond.

Perhaps you are getting mixed up with Wales? After all you didn't even know where you were going,  were asking about the place, yet you had been before - proper Charlie!

Geordieborn.
I find your comments very strange and l see that you have managed to offend others on this forum.
Gary and Sam for instance. Both are friends of mine.
Get your facts right l have never said that l haven’t been to Kalimi.

We had a brilliant time staying at the San Antonio resort in Kalami.  We last stayed here six years ago and since then it has had a change of ownership and a complete refurb, the rooms are amazing with breathtaking views of the bay.  4 stars rated and most important adult only.  Two swimming pools and several bars.
The White House the former residence of the author Lawrence Durrell who lived here with his wife in the 1930s and now converted into apartments and a restaurant is first class and serving top class meals
( expensive but worth it for a special meal or two! ) also several bars and restaurants on the beach front.
The next bay from Kalami is Agni bay which you can reach by water taxi from Kalimi during the evening until about 11pm, there are three tavernas here. The taxis take less than ten minutes.
We hired a car for five days and managed to visit San Stefanos for a day on the beach.
Next year we plan to stay a week in San Stefanos and a week in Kalami.
I could say far more about the area around Kalimi but l don’t want to bore you.  It’s a special place like San Stefanos

I must have made a mistake then?

Many thanks to all the members who have sent me personal messages regarding the snide comments made to me yesterday.
We all like to have a bit of banter etc but sometimes it can get out of hand.

Again many thanks ( matter closed )

I wonder if Maggie made it? I think she should be back by now but will be self- isolating? Give us a shout if you’re there Maggie !

The optimism of marketing departments knows no bounds.

I had a pretty blue email from TUI this morning, complete with pictures of Corfu. In large print is said:

"It's only 272 days until your holiday. Don't leave it too late to book one of our fabulous excursions!"
