Is that a "filling the plane up" thing?
It looks like it TB, from looking at pre-booked seats on both East Mids and the Birmigham flights they are both about a third full, so just flying one aircraft 2/3rds full. Better than cancelling but a bit of a pain. Flight leaves EMA at 0710 hrs and then Birmingham at 0830.

Notified today that our Jet2 flight from East Midlands on Monday morning will now take 4 1/2 hrs as it is taking a tour of the Midlands first and going to Birmingham after we board. So an earlier departure from EMA and arrive 1/2 hour later in Corfu.

Greek PLF landed in my emails today for Monday flight, Facebook group reporting it comes back immediately now so no more anxious waiting for 10pm the night before!

Excellent, all good I presume? Any impact at the tavernas for this indoor and vaccinated rule Glenn?

Well Jet2 say our flight is going a week on Monday and check in is open. So it’s time to get the cases out of the loft and order some Euros. 😁

Another Midlander! I love East Mids as its not as intimidating as Manchester or, god forbid, the London airports. I'm a bad flyer so i need a nice calm experience at the airport before hand (Which last time we went didn't happen as the taxi to East Mids didn't turn up and we didn't arrive at the airport until 6.40 for a 7.55 flight- :o )
Yes East Mids convenient for us, only 15 miles away, but have used Luton and Heathrow particularly when there was four of us so the savings per ticket added up. It’s often quite a lot more for that convenience.

and good news for the likes of people similar to myself who want & need to work.  OK I will need to wear a mask behind my little reception area but I can suffer that.  Hope to see many visitors soon.....enjoy your weekend.......
Yes excellent news Lesley, it must be a huge relief to so many of you. I was reading on another group how Ag George and Arillas were comparatively busy this week to ag Stef as the former had German and other European tourists. Hopefully AS will catch up soon. Do you know when the first Jet2 guests arrive at Vickys yet?

Jet2 who have not been flying to amber have updated their social media pages and app that they will be doing so from 19th July. So my flight from east Mids on 26th is looking promising  :)

Also adults who are not fully jabbed don’t need to self isolate on return from green but will have to from amber. So the younger adults who have only had one jab will more likely be heading to green destinations I expect.

90
The advice against travelling to Amber countries will no longer be "essential only." So there will be no difference between Green and Amber apart, from their colour, obviously.

Excellent news for Corfu!
Indeed it is Jim. I suppose the amber or green status is a consideration for anyone booking a holiday now who isn’t too fussed where they go, as the danger is a move to red whilst away.
Let’s hope it is sustainable over the summer and autumn.
