Where to stay / Re: Little Prince

Just read on social media that Dimitri and Pippina have called it a day in the Little Prince restaurant, retiring after many years, apparently keeping the hotel side going, wishing them well  ;D.

Looks like it is starting to shut for end of season. Must be lovely for all those who work so hard over the summer, but sad for me.

Aye, noticed the loungers stacked at Nafsika, and it looks as though some are stacked in Manthos too.

San Stefanos news and views / Toilets.
« on: October 07, 2024, 01:50:23 PM »
Disappointed to see a fair amount of toilets in some establishments in poor condition. Some with no toilet seat, grotty bowls, broken cistern handles, no flush, no soap , overflowing paper bins, etc. I know these places get a regular amount of visits during the day and night, but surely a five minute check every hour or so would be no hardship.

Just home after spending a week in these amazing suites. Up an incline opposite SS Travel office, the suites have two bedrooms, two loos, wet room and shower over bath, massive lounge/ diner, with amazing views over the village and beach, two balconies at front, and two smaller to rear. There are four suites in total, each with secure access, spotlessly clean, and smell so fresh. The owner is Pepi, she is so welcoming, and nothing is a bother to her, peaceful location too I must add.

Where to stay / Jasmine Hotel.
« on: September 15, 2024, 02:21:56 PM »
Stayed here for a week, absolutely spotless, and fabulous hosts. We were in one of the new suites, they are amazing, large double bed upstairs, with large balcony, walk in shower and seating area downstairs, fridge, work station, and smaller balcony, mozzie screens on each door too, a bonus. There is a bar, which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, a pool with loungers all around, to catch the sun all day. Consider this hotel if you want to be a little further away from the centre, you will not be disappointed.

Where to stay / Re: New Apartments being built...

Apparently the new build is to be called Little Prince Boutique Hotel, and should be up and running in around five years, according to locals we spoke with.

Where to eat out in San Stefanos? / Re: Olympia Restaurant.

Ate there last week, slimmed down menu, but still a good choice of fabulous food. Busy most nights we were there, it is also open during late morning for lunches, either overlooking the pool area, and inside too, best chef in the village, in my opinion, is Vassilis.

Ditto Winkie, drives me crazy, use ear pods or whatever. Don’t impose your choice of music on others. One of the reasons we stay at Fedra, as you know Dimitri would stamp it out straight away! We are there now…… super chilled and wonderful as ever.

Its a definate no no at Fedra, I remember a young couple arriving one day, headed over to the pool loungers in the corner, ghetto blaster in hand, Harri spotted it, straight over, politely told them not to use it, made my day. Give your delightful hosts a big hug from me BAJ.
