Yes, pre-departure test still required, but they can be done at the village clinic. 30€ I think I read somewhere.

Good news, typo D@G its 19th July. Plus only a day 2 test

So it looks like today is the day. Grant Schapps to make a statement on travel at 11:30 today.

All the papers reporting that it will be no quarantine for those double jabbed when returning from amber countries. A PCR will still be required on day 2 of returning home. Children of those double jabbed will still need a PCR but again no quarantine. Full details at 11:30.
Fingers crossed, we will be going in any case at end of July for 2 weeks so hopefully won’t have to quarantine on return

Richnsare, you should be good for August, we are all eagerly anticipating the announcement ref quarantine. We will be going at end of July in any case, but no quarantine on return will be welcome.

They have cancelled my flight from Manchester on 4th August, maybe to consolidate to a Tuesday. They made it very easy, and free, to switch to the Tuesday so no problems from me, means an extra days holiday  ;D
Bonus day, and they are definitely flying on a Tuesday. The only Wednesday arrivals today are BA from Heathrow and EJ from Bristol.

I was looking for a specific video and I found this. Ten years ago, when life was different:

Excellent, we have stayed in Arillas several times at Bardis Sun Studios, for a few years when we had the girls with us we did a week in Arillas and then a week in San Stef.

Residents eat 7 to 9 - so about 8:30 is a good time to turn up. You may have hit Nafsika's difficult year, after total staff changes.

Fish is a speciality. I'm not a great fish eater, but what I've had has been great. Really it all depends upon the specials. If you're into wine, Spiros is an expert. And he tries to elevate Greek cuisine to fine dining when he can. Certainly among the best in the village.
Noted ref times Jim, thanks. I am a wine drinker but wine buffs would consider me a wine heathen, house medium white in the carafe suits us fine

Ryanair flights from East Mids on a Monday now flying, added to listing. They weren’t last Monday, so flights are increasing!  :)

Kleftiko, one of Amanda’s favourites and I am a fish fan, so should be good. We eat at the opposite end of the sittings, quite early as Amanda and eating late don’t go together.

Any recommended dishes Karen? We will have dinner there one evening this year as we are that end of the village and we haven’t been for several years. I think we went in at a time that clashed with residents eating so we had a really long wait for our food and haven’t returned. Like everyone we have our favourites and don’t always have enough time to get around those. We were discussing it on our walk yesterday and there are places we have never even tried so we have vowed to add new places to us to our hit list each time we visit from now on.
This years new to do is Mistral and re-try Nafsika.

I have updated the original post to include these two flights. I will add any new ones that appear over the next few weeks or until I get bored! If you know of any other flights I have missed which are confirmed as having landed then post on this thread and I will add to the posting at the top, or any that stop flying. Regards Brian

There are Edinburgh Ryanair flights on a Saturday, too.
I thought I had missed one.
Also can add that today a Ryanair flight from Stansted is scheduled to arrive this evening.
