Hi Rae21 I agree with your mention of 2 Star we have used 2 stars for years and always get a friendly welcome and the two of us usually get a two course meal plus wine plus tip for less than 25euro.
And usually a free glass of wine each.

Can someone please tell me exactly where the Beachcomber and Tasty Corner are?  I  will be out in June and looking for new places to try.  Also  is Mon Amour still going?  It's the most traditional taverna I have eaten in (just outside SS on the road to Corfu Town) The home made wine and the 'special' Ouzo is to die for.

Bee - the Beachcomber is really a whisper away from the Anatoli - opposite the Nafsika.

Bee, there is a Mon Amour in Kavadades.  Google Mon Amour Corfu and there is a video on YouTube of someone travelling from Arrilas to Kavadades.  Maybe worth having a look to see if its the one you remember?  Sorry if I am repeating other posts!

Is anyone else going to be in AS for the Greek Easter weekend?  Hope there will be!

Mon Amour is still going, went there last Sept.
Traditional Greek Taverna - wonderful food and wine.

As Jimbo says it is all subjective.

for us 1. Nafsika
          2. olympia
          3 yiannis

but, apart from two star  (where i have had 2 very bad meals !) everywhere is great. Ozzy oils bbq deserves a special mention too.
Tasty Corner is also brilliant .

Olympia
Ozzy Oils
Little Prince
Not necessarily in that order though and we do also like most of the other places in the village as well and never really had any bad meals at all.
Not sure if I had the wrong food at Tasty Corner year or just made the wrong choice but it wasn't something I would like to try again. Like the milkshakes in there though and is a great spot for people watching.

It would be nice to see a return of:
> Paradise
> Mythica
> Mama Mia's

...some time soon, but for now I'm persnonally looking forward to:
> Barras
> Beachcomber
> Yannis (opposite Athens, not the other one)

..and as a vote for my good lady (is that in the rules?  ;) and not repeating my choices):
> Town Pizza
> Sunset
> Little Prince

I need a bigger list!!
