How much are the 'essentials' in San Stef?
« on: April 29, 2009, 01:28:41 AM »
Essentials - i.e. beer esp. mythos 500ml bottle, smirnoff vodka and are spirit measures "say when!" and typical 3-course meal.
Not just cheapest but average. Went to Santorini last June for friends wedding and it was 8 to 9 euros for a beer and a vodka/coke in most bars.
We've been going to Carvoeiro on the Algarve for last 8 years and a pint of premium lager is about 3.50 euros, vodka/coke about 4 euros.

From last year and a drink addled memory helped on it's way by age! We paid between €7 & €8 for 2 spirits and mixers, good measures but say no ice and they still fill spirit to same height. Ask for ice later - Scots trick!  Beer about €1.5 for half and €2.5 for a pint.
Eating out at night is usually €7.50 special = main, starter, side salad : €6.50 for main and glass of wine... Sorry never do sweets... Fattening little buggers them!  :o ;D :o
