San Stef Webcam in 2009
« on: January 26, 2009, 03:53:15 AM »
Anyone know when/if the Webcam will operate again in 2009?
I believe that Noula from San Stef Travel operates it?
Any idea's??? It would have been nice to check out the winter views as well!

Hi Tony

John & I spoke to Dimitris who does the web cams in Arillis and San Stef when we were there last year and he said  that he and Noula were hoping to put the web cam up on the church for 2009.

So keep watching

I am led to believe that Don has built in Zoom lenses in his bottle thick sunglass lenses.
He is the official guide to the rather special attractions on the zipper-free beach end.
However - perhaps we can indeed have a remote controlled webcam (by us) to zoom up the beach
and catch Don doing the guided tour! A K A follow the Mankini!!
Go for it Don!! (and loan me the glasses).

Not bad but mud gets in your bits and gets all uncomfy. When you walk its like talc blowing about everywhere. I see, its you behind that dusty cloud!

Yes - it's quite fun doing the mud thing - but as you slowly meeeeeaaaaander along the beach - naturally averting your eyes,
carefully avoiding looking at the local butchers shop displays - on that end of the beach, (of course I do!!),
The mud dries up and starts to flake off - kinda like a leper!!
But where's the bell you need to ring?

The webcam is now pointing up the beach and it looks very cold there this morning. Not the beautiful hot sunny beach we all normally see on our hols  :)

I like the view from the webcams new position.

Is it on the Church as John & Iwere told it would be?  It seems a little further up the road to me, but this maybe the angle of the camera

I don't think it's on the church - it looks more like its in line with the straight part of the beach somewhere near Nafsika.

It appears to be showing above the beach side tavernas around the Mistral/Manthos area.
What snow, none here!!
