My brother-in-law was meant to be flying back from Turkey when that storm was doing its thing but luckily his flight was cancelled. He was delayed 36 hours which is some storm.

Heavy rain overnight Friday which lasted all day yesterday, Saturday.  This Sunday morning it is a grey day with some light rain/drizzle. The forecast does indicate more rain later.  Up here in Avliotes, we are fine, no flooding, however yet again the Central and South areas of the island have been flooded.  TV showing roads closed and high rain levels on the streets.  It is also unusually mild 21c this morning.  Wishing everyone a lovely Sunday x

The sea front at Arillas was packed yesterday with several in the sea, so I guess there are some hardy types still there!!

Its another beautiful day clear blue sky and a warmish temperature of 19c this morning - just as well as off to a friends for a lunchtime BBQ. Happy Saturday All x
