Calm before the storm here in West Yorkshire, quite pleasant outside.  Looks lovely on the beach there in SS... Nice and warm too!

Rather a mixed bag here this Thursday. Grey clouds earlier then the blue ones blew in now scattered clouds with a gentle breeze lovely and mild around 23c so windows, doors open time for some gardening in case scattered showers arrive later? Happy Thursday All  8) 8) 8)

Hope you enjoyed your day Lesley, good to hear the other nice side of life there in Corfu. No storm yet for us, fingers crossed it's in a teacup here, but sounds awful in parts of Scotland.

A "controlled" burn ! Been smoke for a few hours now and looking worse.

Supposedly an evacuation order, but those surfers don’t need to! Looking a little better on the hill, less smoke.

Yes, thankfully looks to have been controlled now. Saw some videos by Kostas from Fantasea taken up by Romanza where it was right up to the walls. Fire fighters and locals with water bowsers tackling it.
