A pertinent explanation from Anna and very well said.

For the couple of years I have known Kostas he has been one of the most helpful and polite individuals in San Stefanos.

I cannot speak about the unfortunate incident that kicked this off as I was obviously not there, but there is sometimes a feeling among some that a small minority of visitors do seem to think the place belongs to them.

Kostas was trying to run a small business and as Anna so rightly stated was fully licenced - he deserves respect and not ill-informed comment. Unfortunately sometimes a few people do not seem to think about where they may set themselves up on what has to be described as fairly expansive and wide (at present) beach.

I wish Kostas the best for the future as I understand this maybe his last year. He will be sorely missed by many as he offered a service on that part of the beach that was generally very well received.

A sincere and big thank you for Relaxing Point over the last two summers.

Reading the above has reminded me that there are two sides to every story.

What puzzles me is why anybody would actually want to plonk themselves down in front of a row of beach-beds anyway!

My mum always told me there are three sides....... ie the truth, which is usually somewhere in the middle, lol  ;)!!

We used his beds five times. He was chatty, friendly and tended the turtle egg exclusion area daily. We only saw him ask one guy to move who was cheekily about a foot off two unused beds meaning no one would use them. Ohers were within 10 or 20 metres and he said nothing to them.

I would say that was reasonable to ask him to move, being so close, perhaps he was trying to nick the shade from the sunshade!
