Old Perithia
« on: April 13, 2015, 02:29:17 PM »
We will be going to Kassiopi for a night during our stay and I fancy a detour to Old Perithia. I just wanted to ask what the road up is like as we will be on quads and don't fancy a death ride ha!

The road was fine when we went a couple of years ago.

Yes, road is fine. We have been up in a standard rental hatchback. Tarmac all the way to the car park for the village.

It's worth going to. The first time I went it was very much a ghost town, but has a few Tavernas etc. now. I seem to recall the homemade ginger beer being a hit with me.

We went last year as part of a bus trip, no problem at all. Lovely place which is being gradually - and carefully - restored.
