Today has been another lovely sunny one, with a little bit of a breeze, which perhaps kept a few people off the beach, and closer to the swimming pools.

Quite a number of people out for pre dinner drinks this evening, in Silver Star and Summer Dreams, and playing pool in Acabar.

The sea this evening had a lovely blue hue to it, with a few frothy waves rolling on in, and the sun was just setting behind just a couple of clouds on the horizon.....a beautiful San Stef day!  ;)

A slightly cooler day today, not too cool, but enough to keep me from going no further than dipping of toes in the sea this afternoon.

Beach was fairly busy, with people relaxing on the sunbeds, but only a couple of people seemed to venture into the sea, as a sea breeze made it feel a little cooler.
However, go back 10 feet to behind the fence at the Athina, and the temperature went up!

After being battered somewhat by recent storms, and the changing path of the stream, the bridge has now been restored back to its former glory, which is nice.

Little Prince is playing host tonight to a wedding party, and is decked out on one side of its restaurant with balloons, and swags of material, in true Greek style.

Just waiting for the fireworks later to round of their celebrations...another Greek tradition.

Hot, sunny, very few clouds in the sky today, what more could we wish for today?  8)

Very little breeze too, so much nicer on the beach, and the sea 'as warm as a bath' as someone described it to me earlier!

Slightly cooler evenings now, resulting in Mr Hippopots actually putting a fleece on tonight.....he must be turning Greek, cos he's gonna be a lot colder back in UK when we pop back next!!

A few people out having some drinks tonight, with a couple in Sunset, and quite a lot in Aquarius, they're having quite a busy one tonight....Glen must have the chocolate tequila out again!!  ;D

It's getting to that time of year when no matter how warm the days are in San Steoh the nights turn cool. The upside is you don't need air con!

The endless summer in the UK will end soon as well so Autumn is rapidly approaching across the whole of Europe.

Gorgeous, hot and sunny day today.

This afternoon an hour at the beach beckoned, the sea was as still as a pond, and beautifully warm.

A little cloud cover at about 5pm saw a few people on the move from the sunbeds, but it didn't last too long.

This evening Barras and Yiannis Grill Room both doing a very good trade.

Coaches still coming and going, and struggling to get down to Athina hotel due to a car parked right on the corner...quite entertaining watching Yiannis from Yiannis Gyros, and Nikos from Athens Bar trying to guide a reversing coach around a very tight corner without taking the front off the car, or squishing Nikos against our wall!!

A little bit overcast this morning, but still turned into another lovely day
Comfortable temperatures for walking in now, which showed by the number of people I saw walking up the hill out towards Arillas when I drove up that way this morning.....maybe off to do a brewery tour?!

This evening the village feels much busier than last night, so maybe plenty of new arrivals last night.

Meditteranean Village, Zorbas, Nafsika, and Beachcombers all doing a good trade tonight, then there's a choice of music with Michael Buble/Robbie Williams at Condor, Karaoke at Thomas bay, and Keith Mitchell in Athens Bar (who has, at this precise moment just broken into a guitar rendition of 'Zorba the Greek')!

Good to hear Manthos was also busy....I didn't get too much chance to look, I was too busy trying to stop Bod from chasing the cat (or should that be preventing Bod from getting a swipe round the nose from the cat??!)

Nice and sunny again today, with a haze over the islands and Albania this afternoon. The mainland was invisible, and the islands just a faint outline. But lovely on the beach.

Spent a very pleasant hour enjoying a frappe with Shane and Sandra at the Juice Bar....their last day will be Saturday, so if you're here and want to wish them well, make sure you go to see them by then.

A very pleasant September day today, lots of just slihtly hazy sunshine, again making for a great beach or pool day.

Started to cloud over by early evening, and there were just a few drops of rain ( and I do literally mean just a few!) so nothing to ruin anyones evening.

Early evening saw early cocktails being enjoyed in Silver Star, Acabar and El Greco, and early meals being taken in Mediterranean Village, with both Yiannis ( grill room and Gyros) busy later on.

Lots of people wandering around earlier, but is quite quiet now, with coaches once again doing their pic up/ drop offs for one of the main changeover days.

A delayed update for yesterday, as I wrote it out last night, then my internet decided to play up just as I posted....just realised it didn't actually post.

So, for yesterday....

The mistral wind came in full gusto yesterday morning, and there was much battening down of the hatches, and bringing in of menu boards and shop stock.
The wind was whipping the sand up on the beach, but a few were braving a walk, and one hardy couple were using the car as a wind break.

The wind died down by early evening, meaning it bacame another lovely evening for eating al fresco.

Well, the mistral has all gone again today, so we're back to plenty of sunshine, and a nice calm sea.

Took an early evening walk up the hill behind the juice bar, lovely views of the setting sun from the top.

Tsaros had a fair few people enjoying a drink at their poolside bar, and there were afew people heading out to dinner, although overall everywhere seems quiet tonight, so maybe people are choosing to stay at their hotels this evening.

The cooler evenings are more the norm now, and the temperature guage at San Stefanos car hire is currently saying its 6 degrees!! Definately proof that when we were all melting in August and it was registering 24 degrees, it was without a doubt incorrect!!

Hi Hippopots! We meant to call in again for a chat before we went home, but somehow ran out of time! It was lovely meeting you again and after 3 days at home we're so glad we can keep in touch via your updates with what's going in in SS! Already planning our next visit. Oh and thanks for the tip about the Hungarian Beatles at 3 Ws - we really enjoyed their show. See you next year hopefully!
