Scorchio today. About 34  degrees and supposed to be hotter tomorrow! Not very much breeze on the beach. Beach down near cliffs very untidy still. Fairly quiet late on last night, as change over day. Condor not as busy as usual, usual karaoke going on :D. Had a good act Thursday night. Done some madness and that type of genre of music. New 2star restaurant seems very successful, always busy. Good for them. Oh well, must get on drinking my amstel at stamatis bar. :)

Karen, are Maria and Allicias (bet it's spelt wrong) still there? We are coming late September for our usual retreat to peace and quiet and lovely people from the mad world that is England at the moment. :D.   June

Hello June, yes they are. Nothing's changed here! Which is a good thing! Enjoy your holiday when it comes.  Quite busy in resort last night. Condor had two sisters singing, getting everyone up dancing. Lots of Greek dancing throughout the village. Another very hot day today, with hardly any breeze, so keeping out of the sun, we're not used to it in England!   :)

And another hot one today. Fairly quiet in the village last night after the football had finished, but big changeover day today, so those people, no doubt, having an early night! Today we had  the mist descend, but it's gone now :)

Sorry, I've been a little lax lately with my posting, due to family here, then a change of computer meaning my automatic log in wasn't there, so had to get a new password!

So, many thanks Karen for keeping everyone up to date!  :)

So, as Karen says, weather has been amazing....hot, sunny, no clouds, a little wisp of a breeze, perfect!

The beach has been busy, and much easier to get from one part to the other, now the little bridge is back in place.

Still lots of people on the beach at 8.30pm last night, with some still swimming. And many on the patios of Manthos, Beachcombers and Fantasea enjoying the sunset.

We went to Ozzy Oil last Monday for a meal, all very nice as always, and when we arrived there was a musical trio serenading the diners for a few songs....I don't know if this is a regular thing, but it was a nice touch!

No problem Jackie :) So walking through the village last night, about 9.30, couldn't believe how busy restaurants were. Most were almost full, starting with yiannis kebab place, 2 stars, zorbas little prince. Got to Nafsika and had to wait for a table! Bars were busy, with live music in bar38 and Athens. Michael Jackson was singing at silver star and buster bloodvessel lookalike at condor. Condor for was heaving. Lots of young people in resort now, so quite lively! So yesterday was very hot, 38 degrees, today is the same, with a nice breeze, so be careful everyone with the heat, when you come out. Last 2 days for us, relaxing on patio at dramatics. Jackie, hope you don't mind me jumping on your thread! :)

Not at all Karen.....keep up the good work!!

So a scorcher today, very very hot and little breeze  8)

I took Bod down to the beach around 8.30pm for his evening dunking in the stream, and the beach was still pretty busy, with quite a number of cars still parked down there, and people still enjoying a swim.

Live music tonight at El Greco, with Groucho, and tomorrow Summer Dreams have their first greek night of this season, always a popular choice.

Thank you Jackie :) So cases are packed. Had a fabulous time with the lovely people of San stefanos. Met up with Jimbo and the lovely Gillie, also saw Tony and Linda, both looking well and all our friends at stamatis apartments. Busy again last night in all the restaurants. Hot again today, but with a nice breeze :) Enjoy your holidays everyone, we will be booking up as soon as we get home! :)

Great postings Karen, safe journey home.

So another very hot day again today, and that sun is strong!

It's a lively San Stefanos tonight, with plenty of options for a night out......Greek Nights in both Summer Dreams and 2 Stars, music in Thomas Bay, Ollie Murs/Robbie tribute in Condor Bar, Quiz night at 3W'S, and Sarah James and the red belly turtles belting out the tunes in Athens Bar.

The beachside tavernas were busy tonight too, with plenty of diners in Waves, and Chilly Chili.
Looks like it'll be another hot one again tomorrow, perfect for anyone heading out!

Not long now cabmufc!!

So, after some very intensly hot days, yesterday and today have been a little cooler, which, dare I say, has been very refreshing! Still been perfect sunbathing weather yesterday, without the humidity, once a little smattering of rain we had in the morning passed over!

Today was a little overcast this morning, but the sun soon broke through...although tonight the mistral winds are blowing in full force straight off the sea, so no Chilly Chili tonight, and plastic blinds down in most places!

Some live music tonight, with a Motown tribute in Thomas Bay, Duffy doing a regular Sunday night spot in Summer Dreams, and a singer in 3W's bar.

Well, all back to normal after approx 10 hours with no electricity yesterday. Around half nine in the morning the power went off due to a fire in one of the electric poles above Tsaros.
The electric company could be seen going from pole to pole giving them all a jet wash, as aparently the fire was caused by sand creating a short circuit....it has been pretty breezy lately!

Fortunately power was restored after repairs, at around 7.30pm, just in time for dinner!!

And today has been a scorcher, with very little breeze.
Still people in the sea at 8.30pm tonight, and wow what a sunset! It was one of those classic San Stef ones, that bathe the whole village in a pale orange glow, the sea goes a wonderful pale turquoise, and Albania takes on hues of mauve, just stunning!
Lots of photos being taken as the sun went down
