A bit cooler today....back in Jeans and trainers!  :o But I'm sure it will warm up again soon!

Had a breezy walk on the beach this morning, and Bod got to play with some other doggies, we're all taking advantage of being able to let them run on the beach until the sunbeds appear!

Work all on going around the village, we're all on the big push to get it all done before the weekend, so Easter can be enjoyed, then ready to open next week!
Crystal Daisy was busy getting stock in place, and more prep going on in Athens Bar. Yiannis Gyros was hosing down the plastic wind breakers around his patio, lots of stock being delivered to the supermarket next door to us, and 'the beer lorry' is doing the rounds, delivering those all important barrels!!!  :D

Thank you teamnikos.

Well today started with a lovely walk with doggy on the headland, past Akrotiri, and along to Erriana's. Quick stop in the swing chair to admire the view, and for Bod to have a drink, then back to work at the shop. Feeling pretty smug, as we are all ready for opening on Monday....first time we've been organised this far in advance!! We stopped to have a celebratory beer at 3W'S on the way home!  ;D

Plenty of others getting ready, I think we'd all like to be done in time for Easter this weekend, so we can relax and enjoy!

Yiannis grill room was setting up tables, and cutting new table coverings to size, cleaning going on at Athens Bar and Acabar, and hotels and apartments are all getting ready to welcome their first guests next week.

As we're all ready we won't be back to San Stefanos until Monday, after which daily updates will begin.

We would like to wish all our fellow businesses and workers a great Summer, and all visitors to the village a fantastic holiday!

Summer 2016 is here!! 8)

Have a great Greek Easter.

The weather in the UK is awful at the moment, and it might as well be Christmas.

Thanks all for the best wishes for Easter and the season.

Well, after a beautiful hot, sunny Easter Saturday, and a slightly damp Easter Sunday, the first day of the San Stef season has, unfortunately been rather soggy and windy, not the best weather for our first guests to be arriving in! But, hey, that does mean it can only get better!!

So things are opening gradually through the village, with ourselves opening this afternoon (just before the heavens opened!!). Tasty Corner and El Greco have been open for a couple of weeks now, and were joined by Beer O Clock, and 2 Stars, in its new location next to Condor.
Pegasus Bikes was also open today, as was Aspa and San Stefanos supermarket, ready to provide arrivals with the necessities.

Well, after another soggy start to the day, the weather perked up this afternoon, thankfully bringing us some sunshine!  8)

After the traditional Easter parade in Avliotes village, which some of the locals took part in, a couple more businesses opened this afternoon.

Spiros bikes are now all up and running, and Vasia gift shop opened their doors for the first time today.

Tables are all in place ready for Olympia to open, and also at Manthos, where he has his menu out the front, so is ready and waiting for diners.

An improvement in the weather today.....no rain, some sunshine, although a bit breezy. The wind did however create great conditions for the kite surfers who were down at the beach today.

More places opened today, with Vicky's refurbished pool bar opening, under the new management of George, whom some of you will know from Perros Hotel.
Yianni's gyros opened too (already treated ourselves to one), and Elizabeth's also pulled up their shutters to reveal some lovely new stock.
Condor bar is also up and running, with some really comfy looking new chairs!

Spiros and Irini were busy at Silver Star this evening, and said they are planning to open this weekend, as is Athens Bar, and Little Prince is all set up ready for their first guests who arrive this Friday.
