Gyro.

Please excuse my total ignorance  :-[,but can someone explain what a gyro is please.Have seen them advertised,but never tried them,are they like a kebab here at home.Where would be the best place to buy one when next in town.

It's like Pork or chicken meat laid on a Greek flatbread, with chips on top seasoned with Paprika.
Then its all rolled up. Classic greek street food

We tried these for the first time last year and I think we must be odd as we didn't really take to them  :o

Much preferred the gyros at Yianni's than TC, and after returning a week ago I miss them  :(

  No Gyros in S.s. 'till May   oh how I miss them Alekos is doing only Souvlaki  not as satisfying.
