First Time in SS.
« on: August 22, 2011, 03:43:37 PM »
Hello

Well Holiday all paid for and now just counting the days until we arrive in SS, on 17 Oct will be staying at the Tsaros apartments.
As first timers to SS is there any good tips we need to know places to go visit, eat etc.
And as I am celebrating a certain birthday while away the whole point to the holiday lol
Is there any really nice restaurants, to go to that are a bit special I have been reading all about SS on here and really looking forward to coming, it sounds a nice friendly relaxed place.
Thanks alot

Have a look at the where to eat section. Loads of info in there. I dont think you'll have a bad meal to be honest. We didnt.....some better than others but never a bad meal. We liked Ozzy Oil (BBQ night), Zorbas and the Romanza as our faves. For somewhere that little bit special I'd recommend Beachcomber. Superb setting! Enjoy

We went to SS last year for the first time and loved it. We will return next year I guess!

I will back Gav on that - Book a table at the Beachcomber Bistro, watch the sun go down with remarkable sunset views as you dine.
The food is superb as well.
