San Stefanos Online ~ North West Corfu

Manthos still open for business, looks like the village is closing for the season elsewhere.

Lovely sunny day there today but also very windy by the looks. Kamini bar looks to have shut up shop for the winter as well. Anybody there?

Walked up past the blue house to get onto the hilltop track, and to Eriannas, its very steep, and there is now a sign to say the track is only for visitors to the bar and pool, not to Arillas. There is a new complex being built next to Villa Moira, apparently its to be named San Stefanos Rock. There are villas, and pools, the views are incredible, to either side of the hilltop, would defo need transport of some kind to access here, quad or car id guess, unless they upgrade the road from Akrotiri.
Also new builds on the road up and behind Fantasea, looks like two more villa type accomodation, again with pools, the village is certainly growing in size.

We fly out on Friday, first holiday for several years due to bad health.  I guess we will have to pack clothes for all situations as we have not heard from anyone.

Hi John. Whilst they are not always spot-on the weather forecasts these days are much more reliable. Lesley (fromSS) a long time back said Mathraki forecast was the best for SS, so have a look at this Accuweather forecast for an idea of the weather (it looks okay to me for the end of September). Whatever, I'm sure you will have a great time.
