My holiday promise this year is going to have to be the same as a lot of you, I plan on taking a walk up to Akrotiri. We visited for the first time last year and had breakfast up there, not only are the views beautiful but the place itself is stunning. ;D

Where to eat out in San Stefanos? / Re: The Chinese! !!!!
« on: April 02, 2014, 05:29:15 PM »
We only had chance to eat there once when we visited last year and the only reason we went there was because we were over there for 2 weeks so still had plenty of time to visit our favorite Tavernas but the food was delicious and it is such a shame that they may have walked away from this due to the lack of business and left debts to the locals. The only complaint we had whilst eating there was that the bar next door had some cheesy tribute act on and was extremely loud ruining the dining experience a little.

I was in San Stef from 7th to 21st June, we hired a boat and headed down toward Paleo, we stopped at a cove and were diving off the boat and I got stung whilst swimming :( Not particularly painful just a bit uncomfortable, got some cream from the chemist when we got back and it took it straight down. When I actually looked over the side of the boat there were quite a few of them all about the size of a cup bottom. If you have small children perhaps keep an eye on them on the beach and in the sea, I can imagine it wouldn't be a nice experience for little ones!

Where to stay / Re: Fedra Mare
« on: June 22, 2013, 06:02:50 PM »
Hi Gav

I've just been reading your post regarding Fedra Mare and we've just come back from 2 weeks there. I can understand why you would feel a bit put out but I dont think things come across as they should in email. I got married whilst I was over there this time and we booked all but 2 of their apartments, whilst there I found out that Charitini had told some of the regulars that they would have to wait to book until she had confirmed my dates. I suppose the point I'm trying to make is that because they dont advertise through tour operators they depend on the 'regulars' for the majority of their income throughout the season and they have to tread a thin line to keep everyone happy with the balance of people who go back year after year and 'newbies'.

We actually saw more new faces this year than ever before and I know that their response has obviously come as a disappointment but I wouldn't write them off completely. They are truly lovely people who would bend over backwards to make your holiday as enjoyable as possible.

Anyway thats my thought for the day :) Whatever you end up doing I hope you have a fantastic time :)

I must admit I can be quite unadventurous when I visit San Stefanos, I know where I like so I tend to stick to them but after having read some of the reviews I think I will try different places this year, including Fantasea and Barras. I havent eaten in either of them for an age but they seem to come highly recommended on here :)

My top three would have to be;

1. Beachcomber
2. Little Prince
3. Ozzie Oils

Hi Guys I am also flying with Easyjet for the first time this year. I haven't received anything I need to print but did get confirmation of my booking. Both mine and my partners names show without our middle names, does this make a difference? Also do I need to print anything to take to the airport with me?

thanks  :)

Hey guys I am new to the forum and havent been to San Stef for 3 years so was eagar to see what people were saying about it.

It was nice to see that Fedra Mare gets a mention. Demitris and Hari are fantastic and it is always lovely to go back and see everyone.

I've been visiting SS on and off since I was 8 (think this is my 15th visit) and I just love it. My cousin and her bf are staying there at the mo they come back a week today. We go out on 4th September for a week and my parents arrive the day before we leave!! A real family affair :)
