Just looking at booking the Tereza through Thomsons and seems to be that there is only the option to book bed and breakfast not self catering so I'm guessing that we prob wont have a fridge and cooking facilities - not that we would be planning on doing much cooking but do like a kettle and fridge.  Would anyone know?

Hi - anyone know what the entertainment is at the Condor this year?  Or whether Jerry James is at Silver
Star again?

Jules thank you for the info    we love the romanza for views but not the climb .  Do most of the rooms have a good view at the Tereza?

Although thinking of trying to book for Nafsica later in the year can't decide now whether to try Tereza as not sure whether we want half board as we do like to visit the various tavernas for our evening meal.  Decisions decisions!  We did enjoy our stay at Vickys but think its probably booked up for Sept.
Anyone know what Tereza is like to stay?  Anyway wherever we finally book we're looking forward to next holiday at San Stef.  Got back from Thassos on Sunday and first week was great weather but second week worst we have ever had in May with lots of heavy rain - always lovely to be in Greece though whatever the weather

Definitely agree with the comments about Romanza Greek night - although we don't stay at the Romanza any more (finding the steep hill a bit too much these days) we would never miss the Greek night and the music and Andreas and Kate dancing are great and always assured of a warm welcome

Think we'll see if we can book for later this year   - am I right in thinking it is up the little road opposite Summer Dreams?

Thanks for that Debra it does sound good - what sort of times do they serve the meals as we don't like to eat too early in the evening.

Hi - just wondered if anyone could give some up to date info on the Nafsica? We were thinking of booking this year.  We have visited San Stefanos for the last 5 years but never stayed at Nafsica and as its half board just wanted to be sure its OK.  Any feedback would be very welcome. Diane

Hi Angela - yes we were there for two weeks - got back last night and can't wait to go back in May.  Yes we thought the rooms were really spacious but it did look to us as though some may have been smaller - we were on the end on the ground floor by the pool.  Could have done with first floor room really as I needed the exercise after all the lovely meals, cheesecake, wine, etc - back to the diet on Monday!!!

Just got back from two wonderful weeks in San Stefanos.  Weather was just warmer than we thought it might be - we normally go about last two weeks in September and quite early May.  Thank goodness for the air con - we don't normally need it but would have been too uncomfortable without this time. Stayed at the Barras for first time - couldn't believe we were sitting on the balcony practically on the crossroads - we normally go to Romanza or Vickys but couldn't get booked in there this time - missed the views but it was quite interesting watching the comings and goings and Spiro at Silver Star the all the others sweeping up - what entertainment!!  Barras was OK though - large room although the shower was maybe the worst we have experienced in Greece in 25+ years.  Nothing spoiled our holiday though it was all great - just too hot to rush about so kept nipping over to the bakery for cheesecake etc.  Have just read the reviews on the donut man and am SO glad we didn't buy anything - I think he may have been in Roda about 4 years ago?  Anyway spoiled for choice for entertainment with Groucho, Jerry James and Keith Mitchell (I think) and of course Rick Shaw. Only went to Condor once this time to see the Legends - suppose they were OK.  Thought it was a bit odd though that they didn't start until 11.30pm with Rod Stewart (didn't get there at stayed listening to Jerry James (I know he gets a lot of stick but I dont think he takes himself too seriously and we enjoy it)  Didn't think much of the Michael Jackson tribute.  Loved our holiday though and the trip to the brewery - can't wait to go back in May.

Diane  :)

Thanks for all the info.  Must say we've always enjoyed going back in time with Jerry James when we've had a couple of drinks.  Yammas

Hello - I'm new to this site but have been to San Stef a few times and we adore it there.  Have stayed at Romanza and Vicky before but have booked for Barras this year in Sept - hopefully it will be fine as we have read reviews and seems to be OK.  Does anyone know what entertainment Condor have this year and whether Jerry James is on at Silver Star this year?

Diane :)
