Not as expensive as you may think, if 6 to 8 people stay it works out quite good.

Since last year The Romanza Hotel bar and restaurant management has changed.  As you all know Leo and Jenny have gone and now opened The Mythica Restaurant in town.

The new family that has taken over are by far the friendliest Greek family you would ever wish to meet.
Two sisters, Katie and Alex with family members Leo, Andreas, Nicoletta and Eleni do a superb job and will do anything they can to help.  Marina is still in the bar and reception (evenings).

The atmosphere in the hotel is fantastic, the food is to die for (try the moussaka & kleftico) and the BBQ night on Sundays consists a bouzouki and keyboard player with greek dancing (with audiance participation) by the entire family, Katie and Alex's Mum and Dad and the hotel owners join in too.

The Romanza Hotel is now far better than it has ever been in the past.

These two new villas have just been completed and I was privileged enough to be invited by the owner (who also part owns the Romanza Hotel) to have a look around just before they opened, they opened on July 13th 2009.

Each 3 storey villa sleeps 6-8 people, 3 double fitted bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and showers on all floors, living room with fireplace, fitted kitchen with Candy electric oven & hob, dishwasher, 2 person sauna room, ground floor play room with pool table (full size table) and home cinema system, full central heating and air conditioning throghout, finished with wooden floors and extremely tasteful decoration.
Private swimming pool for each of the two villas, huge moon shaped balconys with breathtaking  views across the bay.

These villas are located on the way to the harbour, just behind the small church and are simply luxurious.

We are off to Romanza in a couple of weeks, I have a couple of questions.  We usually do SC so not sure what to expect on B&B. Were the towels ok or do we need to take some? Does the linen etc get changed often.  Do they provide toileteries and loo roll?  I know there is a fridge but what about glasses/mugs etc?  Will the restaurant on site accept credit cards?  As we arrive late 10.30 pm at least, will we be able to get anything to eat?  Thanks

Bed and breakfast is help yourself consists of: boiled eggs, bread, toast, cerials, cake, jam, orange juice and as much tea and coffee that you can drink .  Bath and hand towels are provided and are changed regularly, if you want them changed more frequently, leave them on the floor.  Fridge and 2 glasses are provided, the restaurant takes credit cards and does not impose a 2% fee (as some others do).  You should be able to get something to eat at 10.30pm, ask for Andreas or Marina.  If you've not been before, this is a superb hotel with the friendliest staff you could ever wish to meet.  make sure you go to the BBQ night on Sundays, super fun.
