San Stefanos Online ~ North West Corfu

we go to san stef three times a year staying at the terrasa hotel [one of the best hotels in our opinion]roll on september back to god country .yammas mike . 

i canary the new road to sidari that will by passed aviotes has not been finished  because of the greek economy it has been put on all till at least next year , so you will have to go through aviotes village ,still you can alway stop off and have a drink or snack at the vines taverna the view is fantastic  yammas mike. 

when we were there in may this year we went to yannis taverna most night food was excellent three course for 9 euros a litre of village wine 5 euros  23 euros tip 2euros total 25 euros , the lamb is fantastic and the fish also excellent ,[a must try taverna 8 out of ten in my book] also went to the mon-more taverna very good food and the night owl  both in afionas but you will need transport to get there well worth the journey. yammas mike .

i.all just return from two week holiday in the terresa the weather for the past fourteen days was a mixture of very cloudy in the morning and clearing by lunch time to very hot sunshine ,but the nights were very cold  you still need a top coat to go out in the evening ,resort was not very busy the only place busy was the thomas bay every night ,meet zoe and roy in the resort ,the rate we got has risen to 1.17 to the pound ,prices on par of last year no cash machines working in san stef or arillas ony at avoites ,new restaurant opening on the top of san stef near the gravia bar and a small shed and i mean shed next to the little church on top dead cheap does coffee and beer ,and a loverly view of the sea and san stef with chairs  and one sun bed ,must be seen well worth the walk to it over all a good holiday and we are returning in sep for hopefully a month  at the quitetude apt .hope every one going next week a happy holiday .yammas mike .   

hi zoe thats what im doing in the morning going to the doc,s for extra medication just in case you never know .you are flying the same day as us [friday 21] what airport are you flying from we are going from east -midlands with a lot of luck hope to see you both in aquarius bar one night [who knows].yammas mike.   .     [ hope the weather gets better in corfu raining again today and cold ].

the pizza place next to zorba,s was closed down last season the manager walk out in september and they shut it down , we return in october and it was still close we were told big problems dont know if its open this season yet .yammas mike [two weeks to go then back to god,s country and the terrasa hotel]. 

i  tredegar boy ,we are going on the 21 may staying at the terresa hotel we have been twice in may and the weather has been very hot in the 80 degrees and not to busy and good for sightseeing the island and great for swimming we may cross paths in san stef we go nearly every night in the thomas bay for the fun ,hope you both have a good time and you wife a happy birthday from one welsh man to another ,cymru-am-byth or as the greeks yammas .mike

tony co i think the car hire man has had to move because the owner of bar 39 that owns the land has moved bar 39 across the road on to the car lot and i think car hire has gone up the main road passed ossie oil ,mike
