well after choosing to go to cuba last year and give ss a miss,we've decided that we cant live without the village any longer so were booked to go back in oct for 2 weeks,looking forward to seeing all the locals,does anybody know if the old guy who lives in the little house on the road to sidari is still alive(the 1 that always gives you a wave) ,lisa xx

hi gavlah and paulene, gav i think you will find that your price is only 1 way ours is to the hotel and back to the airport but like paulene says i hope we dont end up at the other agios stefanos lol and paulene its with holiday taxis.com.am sure wherever we end up it will be an experience 

we fly out to ss on the 2nd aug,this is our 4th visit since discovering the village 12 months ago,we always take cash cos the cashpoint never works,i would never feel uneasy about carrying lots of cash in this village as everybody is so friendly and nice,we have never had 1 problem with anything in the last year

hi claret we have stayed in the kapetanios apts 3 times they are lovely and very clean,the hills a little steep up to them but ya get used to it,we came back 4 weeks ago and are going back in 5 weeks time we love it and am sure you will,tony and don will give you lots of advice about ss as they are experts and have been there hundreds of times before,they helped me out a lot with advice,hope you have a great time...... lisa and andy

thanks tony and jules,what do yous think about gettin on the thomson coach for 50 pound return,i know its gonna go around the world but its gotta be the cheaper option aint it,thanks for your replies

hi everyone,just got back last night,didnt really see any price changes from last year,my report would be exactly like terry and joys apart from the new pizza place attatched to zorba's is very good and pizzas are all bogof,there seems to be a new place gonna open very shortly next to the juice bar,think it could be a taverna.bar 38 is opening up soon next to the new car rental place opposite,on our first week it was very quiet but started to get busier on the 2nd just unfortunate about the very bad weather we had,dont think the walk along the cliffs to arrilas will be there next year it has eroded really badly,oh and for anyone going soon there is no cash machine in arrilas any more,we were told last week that a new company was putting a one in but we know how long that can take,the 1 at thomas bay was broke for the whole 2 weeks,due to be fixed today lol oh and the rate in the village when we left yesterday was 1.16,cant remember everything so any questions just ask,speak to you all soon
