San Stefanos Online ~ North West Corfu

Odd, the website www.tsarosapartments.com is redirecting to Corfunet - not so odd now I've checked because the domain is registered to the Mackays.  They probably do Thanassis's website for him and he did say he was thinking about having it redone over the winter.   It follows that if you are sending email to him via the domain name he might not be getting it at the moment.   There is a telephone number elsewhere on CorfuNet for Thanassis +30 26630 51054.   I was going to suggest contacting Christina (of Apartments and Manthos) but I see that (unsurprisingly) it's exactly the same number on http://www.christina-apartments.eu/contact.php although she also has her mobile and fax number on there.   

Not one of mine!    These two were posted on 16th November and are well worth a look - Part 2 contains quite a bit of San Stef (NW) and the rest other places in Corfu.   A nice reminder of summer for these dark winter days.   Thanks to the YouTube poster should he happen on this forum.

Personally I'd rather apparate (as in Harry Potter) and save on the taxi transfer!!    

that over the coming winter all the furniture, fittings etc will disappear[not sure what he meant by that].

I've a pretty good idea what he meant!!   Guess the surprising thing is that it hasn't happened already.

Thanks Don - been wanting to check out some parts of the village we didn't get too and wondered if we had missed much.   We hadn't!

The San Stef cam seems to be working at the moment too - sea reminds us of what it was like when we were there!   The webcam is located on top of the half finished apartment block which is the last one on the right as you approach the beach.   I like it there but I think they need someone to clean the lens every now and then.    A second one viewing the main street would be nice though!

We are going to have to rely on late availability for next year, mid-May or early September probably.  It's a gamble we can't avoid unfortunately.
