Morning all. This may seem like a stupid question but what will I need to take to San Stef to hire a car and what's the best option insurance wise. I haven't driven abroad for 12 years or more since we had an unfortunate incident outside Alicante one year so I consider myself a green horn.

Any info as always gratefully received.

Well after having given San Stef a miss this year due financial reasons (had to have a new roof) we're now booked for Fedra Mare next July for 2 weeks. £170 each which is the best price we've had for ages. Trouble now we have to wait 9 months. Oh hum.

Greece has said no by a huge majority to a deal which the EU withdrew last week. What now? Where does that leave them? I'm not convinced that the EU will make many if any concessions as to do so could start a dominoe effect across countries like Portugal, Italy and especially Spain which has an election later this year. I fear for the immediate future of our Greek friends but let's hope they can get back on a more secure footing sooner rather than later.
