Would someone be kind enough to post the webcam link again as I can't seem to locate the original?

Thanks, I'll save it in my favourites!

San Stefanos news and views / Re: Covid testing
« on: May 25, 2021, 03:40:29 PM »
Arriving back from an amber list country ,you have to test on day 2 and day 8, of your isolation. These tests have to be booked, before you return home as you may have to put the confirmation reference number on your PLF, which you submit before your return home..Kuoni website..
I was weighing up the costs of tests etc for a trip over in September but forgot to factor in the isolation period. I would imagine that I may be called back into the office by then so working from home, whilst in isolation, may not be feasible.

There’s an update on there Winkie, apparently Cosa Nostra Italian is opening at the old beer o’clock
I'll give it a go if we're allowed to travel to Corfu mid-late September. Got second jag confirmed for 7 June so I'll be raring to go by then!

I can't picture where this Bar is located, although I tended to go no further than Beer O Clock when it was open!

I couldn’t agree more, it totally spoils the ambiance of a long sunny afternoon. Most devices now come with headphones so there’s no need to pollute our ears with their poor quality “music”.

I'm beginning to consider flying over for my usual week late September, (if Ms Sturgeon allows us to leave the country) although I'm still awaiting word on when I'll get my first jab.

I,m sure you will enjoy Trev, keep us posted if you can, on your thoughts of Kalami. We should have been in San Steff celebrating our 46th wedding anniversary today, unfortunately, Mrs Winkie had a fall, and suffered two compressed vertebrae fractures, so sadly had to cancel. Fingers crossed we can meet up with all our friends next year.
Don't know you personally fella, but belated anniversary wishes and hope that your wife gets better soon!

I feel sorry for the people of Scotland.  Sturgeon is only interested in one thing at any cost.
The Fuhrer, as she's known by many of us up here.

Looks like I'll be missing out on San Stef this year as my mate and I will be heading over to his holiday home just outside Dalaman in Turkey mid September. However, this depends on the Scottish Dictatorship, sorry Government, actually allowing us a wee bit of "freedom" as mentioned in their favourite film....

I've been in the village for a week mid/late September for the past 5 years and would recommend it to anyone who is considering to visit at that time of the year. The weather is usually glorious and the village itself is pretty quiet and peaceful with a lovely, tranquil feel about the place.

July 2016 for me, seemed quite a random date until I remembered it was around the time my best mate Mark died of Pancreatic Cancer. We had a final holiday together in the village in September 2015 and I've visited at that time every year since as it brings back good memories.

I'm now seriously considering a week towards the end of September as I've had a pretty dreadful year so far but I'm not sure of the quarantine situation, nor how much travel insurance will cost for a 57 year old!

Yesterday it was warm around 27c and today we expect 29c.  Rather warm for May but at least my tan is coming along nicely. Should be a clear sky today......
What a change from this time last year Lesley when I was trying to avoid hailstones the size of golf balls!!
