Jim, just started reading it today. Johnny has just arrived in resort and purchased a bag of oregano crisps! I’d forgotten all about this delicious snack- funny how the little things bring the memories flooding back!

GB and Karen, I feel the same, maybe being paranoid about the situation in Ukraine escalating….. my heart wants to travel but my head says no!

Jimbo, I read that as long as you can show evidence of having a booster, that is acceptable, regardless of when you had the first 2 shots.

A few years ago we got chatting in a cafe to an elderly lady who had been visiting San Stef as a solo traveller for years. She loved it there and used to stay at Peli & Maria’s apartments.

Hi Anna, where are you based? Been following this story on BBC news, what a tragedy.

Jimbo, have you tried Cuprofen, a strong Ibuprofen? Available from Boots. It really helped me a couple of years ago when I had a frozen shoulder, before I could get to see the physio. Sorry for your losses and other issues, and hope 2022 is kinder.

That's awful. I have never met Lesley but feel I know her personally. What a way to repay her hard work!

How very sad. It's bad enough when a loved one passes away at home (lost mum and mother-in-law within 10 months of each other recently) but much worse if it happens abroad. Deepest sympathies to the family.

Hi Hobbes! We only visited Corfu town, but had a few hours there and were able to visit one of the forts. Parga was lovely, but not quite enough to do there for 2 weeks. I wouldn't say it was like Kassiopi though, the buildings seemed a lot older and more characterful. Some of the streets are quite steep!
