Thomson used to do three weeks, but haven't for the last two or three. I guess they make the money from the flights, rather than the accommodation. It's a real pity.

After a couple of years in the Perros and Jasmine,we will be trying the old village for the first time next year,really looking forward to it,not that we didnt like it at the other two places.

Had some really good chats with them as they live near our friends in Queensland and also near where our Cricket Professional from last year played (player of the year in the Aussie big bash).
Also very familiar with Greater Manchester and Cheshire,really nice couple,Shane a real character,will be missed.

Dont think I had read this thread but have to admit it was one of the best meals of our Holiday and we nearly skipped it as it was so quiet.

Had one of our best meals of the Holiday at the Yiannis,very good value for money at 40 Euros for 4 of us,including my half litre of house Rose at just 4 Euros,excellent

Just caught up on this thread and am saddened by the news that Yiannis will not be there this year!!

He was amazing with Nate my little boy last August and as a family we went there every evening after our post dinner stroll for coffee's and icecream and Nate used to go and stand with Yiannis behind the counter and generally try to wreck his shop and he never once looked annoyed and was quite taken with him.

On our last night he stood in the street and waved to Nate all the way down until we turned the corner by the bakery - will really miss them this year!!

On the positive side, I will let Nate loose in Hippopots more often this year....
