Thanks friends.
Hope to be sprung later this week to see if this new regime can kick start my heart and get it working properly before more invasive treatment  is be necessary.
Got to be on top form by next May ;D

Maggie ,I had Heart attack in January 2016 ,Three Stents fitted at the time followed by another Stent in May the same year.Had further complications with Fluid on my Lung and it was only three week before our July Holiday that I was given the Green light to go on Holiday.
10 Days in AS was the best tonic going, lots of R&R, slept like a baby with the Sea air (Nafsika) and had some pleasant strolls with my Wife and daughter.Great preperation for my NHS Cardio Rehab when I got home!

San Stefanos news and views / Re: Beer we go again! Alfa, Fix or Mythos?
« on: September 25, 2019, 08:08:44 PM »
Good selection of replies so far.

My own preference is -

1 Fix
2 Alfa

........and Mythos is now unplaced as it is certainly not the same beer as it was 10-15 years ago in my humble opinion.
Same here, Fix is nice and Hoppy, originally brewed by Bavarians who had moved to Greece, Alfa is nice on draught, keeps a good head for ages. Mythos is avaege to say the least!

Not too sure if it is quite simply a case of “x” number go on holiday to “y” number of places and that will continue in the long run. In the meantime I’m sure the vultures will come looking to buy cheap slots, aircraft, staff and the likes and gain from it all.
Those Spanish hotels that have locked people out of their rooms should be named and shamed, along with full praise going to those that simply continue to ensure those folks on holiday with them just now see little difference and enjoy it as much as possible.

Good call that, there should be a website dedicated to these things, if there isnt already that is

Information and help please / Re: San Stef vs Spain

I agree Debra, always say Ibiza is like Corfu but with tarmac. People not quite as friendly, needs a few Greek Tavernas too! Funnily enough when we went to Portinaxt  we stayed at The El Greco!

From a strictly personal point of view I voted remain as most of our Customers at work are in Europe, however, our Taxi driver on the way to Ag.Stef in June was full of praise that we had brexited, you can tell the Greeks have very little faith in the EU

Does anybody know if we can claim for a flight delay? Was 3 hours 40 minutes from Corfu back to blighty, my insurance company say its got to be more than 10 hours, but I believe there are EU regulation on this?

I was using it the year before last, but I did always quite enjoy that challenge of squeezing through Avliotes. Albeit little more so in a hire car than my own. Sorry Dino if you are watching from above, (or below).

Our taxi used it 2 years ago, only downside is that you miss seeing Avliotes Village.
