we go in just under 4 weeks to san stef and ive changed some money already but have a few 50s in notes,will these be easily accepted ?

We are staying at the Athena,we stayed there last year,there are 15 of us that holiday together we all have 16 year old boys so it works well for us,this year although we booked in october we couldnt all get on the same day so 6 of them are having to travel on the 20th and 1 family is having to stay at the Barras,we no doubt will all meet at glens (aquarius bar ) to start the night off and usually end up back there as well.

we fly from manchester about 6 pm i think,terrible flights both ways this year but everything else booked up,not looking forward to the journey at all,its even worse when we come home we land at 4am

We went to ss for the 1st time last year and stayed at the Athina,we used to go to the Thomas Bay for quiz nights,this was in August,we really enjoyed the night as half way through the waiters would give a floor show of greek dancing,the part i hated though was having to use the downstairs toilets,they really stank,but we had a look at the menu whilst we were there and that looked really good,so if your staying there you wont need to use these toilets,just pop back to your room .We are going back to ss in July this year,its a really lovely,relaxing place,so hope you enjoy

we have been sat in travel agents 3 hrs today trying to book next yrs visit to san stefanos,because there are 15 of us and we need to go in 6 weeks hols its been a nightmare,we have ended up with 2 families flying out on the 20th july and the other 3 familes on monday the 23rd july,4 families have managed to get back in at the athina,the 5th family have had to stay at barras and go self catering,its not ideal but its the only way we could all holiday together.

« on: September 26, 2011, 07:30:28 PM »A wee bit difficult with so many people I think debs, with only 2-4 it's easier as the hotels wouldn't have the capacity for your group as their private bookings are limited. Thomsons have the lions share of accommodation, as usual!!

hi,we are hoping to go back to san stef next yr but thompson prices have gone up a few hundred on what we paid this year,so how do you go about booking independently,there would be 12/15 of us,so could this still be done do you think

Just been to price up for the athina hotel where we stayed this year and its gone up almost 400.00,there are 15 of us wanting to go again next year,can anyone suggest a cheaper way of us doing this as i think 2150.00 for 3 is a lot of money,i know its more cos we have to go in the 6 weeks holiday,we want to be close to the beach,not up any big hills,not even bothered if we all dont get in same place,cos we would all just meet up anyway

we were prob sitting next to you some lunchtimes. Glad you enjoyed SS nothing to dislike about it is there, we love it.
just the food at the athina could have been better,but managed most nights to eat something
