Sorry I meant early October not Eastleigh- predictive text is rubbish!

We’ve been coming to San Stefanos for 14 years but have only been in July or August, we’re coming again this October and wondered if all the usual restaurants will be open, specifically Mistral? We ate there a lot in July (the first year we had done so) and loved it.
Thanks for your help

Where to eat out in San Stefanos? / Re: San Stefano Burger & Bar
« on: August 27, 2016, 10:39:11 AM »
Quick update, went again last night, had San Stefano Special Burger, wow, homemade burger patty with chicken, bacon, feta, pepper, fried onions, tomato, lettuce, cucumber, mustard in a large toasted sesame roll served with chips..sprinkled with local herbs....all for 6  euro 50. Reminds me of the kind of burger now available in the 'up market' burger joints popping up UK but charging more than a fiver....amazing!

Hello all, currently in San Stef and can only agree that this burger bar is another great addition. We've been for past 6 nights for take away to eat on our balcony to soak up views. These are not run of the mill burgers at all, great quality meat in homemade patties with fresh onion, peppers, tomatoes etc. Really nice, lovely chap running the place as always. Easy to miss as an unassuming spot just up from Condor in between Express supermarket and Hippopots. Superb chips as well, good value 5 euro for large fresh cheeseburger with peppers onions tomatoes etc with chips. Give it a try.  Plus lots of other things on menu for those not keen on burgers.

Where to stay / Towel mafia at Romanza....
« on: August 07, 2014, 01:44:57 PM »
Hi there, just returned from a blissful 2 weeks in San stefanos, just have to love the place. However, even more annoying than the wasps in Afionas, is that the towel reservation mafia have arrived at the Romanza.  Having stayed here for the past 5 years one of the lovely things about the place was the consideration of other guests. However a couple of days this time ALL beds were 'reserved' by 7.30am, with the occupants emerging by 11 if you're lucky. A pair of flippers is now enough to gain control of 2 beds for the day. Just a shame that some of the more considerate guests who come down when they are ready end up with no where to sit.....it's still an idyllic spot though....

Hello all...I need some help from you

As Mythica is sadly no longer wish us..I need help..my missus used to love the greek salad from Mythica, in fact had it as her main course most nights.  Can any of you regulars give me any help on where else in town does a greek salad to match, or even better Mythica ???....the slab of feta you used to get at Jenny & Leo's place was unreal...

I look forward to your nominations...

Information and help please / Car hire contact
« on: July 07, 2012, 10:36:18 AM »
Hi all...less than 4 weeks before 14 days of bliss...

Does anybody have the email address for the car hire place (sorry I don't know the name, it's the one just across the road from Zorbas, on the opposite side of road between the Athina hotel road and Zorbas). I think it has a digital clock/temperature outside...I can never remember the name...

Thanks for your help

Hi TonyCo, thanks for your reply, have a great break, I'm not jealous at all !!

I can't believe you dared to go into the place, I wouldn't.

I'll have a hunt around to see if I can track down the previous thread, if i can't hope someone else will help guide me ?

cheers
