Should have said, thanks Jackie for the updates, they are really appreciated, the two bowls you did for us last year are much in use for breakfasts etc. Will be in to see you soon.

Great to hear the place is coming to life. It's nice to hear that someone has taken on the Silver Star as it's a big space! Should be good if they're doing coffees, cake ice creams etc. as I always felt it needed a little something extra for during the day. Also good to hear that the Juice bar is taking shape, it's a favourite spot of ours although we'll miss spending time with Shane and Sandra! Everything else sounds really positive and I hope all our friends have a really good season.

Only 36 days to go for us to return to The Little Prince, email sent today to book taxi from the airport, tickets printed off, API info done, more euros bought from John Lewis Edinburgh at 1.3650, sipping an ice cold Mythos as I type. Would feel like we're there except temperature is about 8 dgrees, mixture of sun and showers. Bring on the 5th of June :)

Anemos is really good, great views, good food, friendly people, reasonably priced. Walk up the path to the right of the Olive Wood shop and you're there. You definitely won't be disappointed.

Some work has started on the unfinished section in the last few days, maybe, just maybe, it will all be finished soon!

We had no probs booking our seats, probably about 8 weeks before travel. Luggage allowance from Edinburgh this year also cut 15kgs. Rather than pay Thomson any more money for what is simply a means of getting more money out of us, we decided just use the excellent laundry in the village, great service.

Sat at the new enlarged El Greco just now having just enjoyed a Mythos and a great sausage pita. Bright and sunny and hot again today, v. warm on beach yesterday, all sunbeds taken by about 10.30. Kostas beds should be back on Saturday, this will ease things a bit. Anyway, time for a frappe now I think

The new road does not appear to be officially open but is being used by many! We were along on ths coach trip to Corfu Town on Wednesday, there is a rough unfinished stretch of around 100 metres which is passable with care. There didn't appear to be any work being carried out.

Well, we arrived back on Friday to the usual welcme from everyone. Weather has been lovely and sunny so far, a little cooler in the evenings than usual. Beach is looking ok walked along yesterday. Costas does not have sunbeds out below the Havana yet, still a bidding war going on apparently.

Prices for food and drink seem to be the same as last year, specials usually 7 euros with a glass of 9 euros for three courses, Shane in good form at the Juice Bar. Car booked for three days from Valantis ar San Stef car hire, 100 euros, all insurance included.

Just had breakfast at the Little Prince, up to Akrotiri for lunch, it's a hectic life here!

Where to stay / Barras
« on: May 17, 2014, 06:38:50 PM »
The answers to my query are no doubt already somewhere on the forum but I've only two simple questions. We're staying at the Barras from 6th June for the first time as we couldn't get booked at the Little Prince this year. Have heard good things about the Barras though.

Do the rooms have hairdryer and safety deposit box?

Where to stay / Peli & Marias
« on: November 23, 2013, 12:11:25 PM »
I've been trying to check their website but the link from their leaflet, www.peli-maria.gr but I just get an error message when I type this in. A google search hasn't helped either. Anyone have a different link? I can phone but would like to have a look first.

Where to stay / Stamatis
« on: November 23, 2013, 12:08:21 PM »
Has anyone stayed at Stamatis Apartments in the last two years? We can't get booked at The Little Prince as usual from 6th June next year but Stamatis is an option. Don't know much about them but they look tidy enough from the street. Any info would be a great help.

Room 108 has a cubicle and as far as I know all rooms now have them. We're just back from another great stay at the LP, our 6th. Dimitris, Mike, Pepina and Ana will make always make you feelwelcome whether regulars or first timers!

Groucho was on at least one night a week at El Greco over the last two weeks. Darren May was on one Sunday only at three Ws. Tassos at Silver Star was stiil considering whether to get someone in as the resort gets busier.
