Hi Siam
Mott sure if you will get anything to eat at Olga's at 2am but Yanni's is open late. It is not that far away from Olga apartments. You can eat in or get a take away

Have a great holiday

Where to stay / Re: Athens Bar Apartments
« on: May 04, 2012, 06:46:22 PM »
We have stayed at Athens appartments on a few occassions, we found them ideal, great location, no noise and into Glenns for the first and last port of call. We stayed at Little Price last year but could not get family room for weeks we wanted this year. I spoke to Nikos who had family room available for first two weeks in Sept which was ideal but the cost of family appartment for three people for those two weeks was 950 euros. When we added cost of flights   to that it came to almost £1900. whch for self catering was a bit expensive. We got a good deal booking package staying at Stamatis for 24th Aug. Not stayed there before but people who have said they are ok. I don't think there is any bad accommadation in the village so we will just hope everything is ok.

We stayed at Little Prince the first two weeks in September, the accommadation was very cean and spacious the room was cleaned and towels changed sixdays a week. I cannot believe the negative comments that have been posted. we only had one probem and that was withthe smoke detector bleeping. I spoke to Dimitris about it and he changedthe battery within ten minutesofspeaking to him. THE pool was spotless and the service at the pool bar was excellent. We had beeakfast in the itte Prince most days but ony had two evening meals in the restaurant, the only reason for this .is we like to spread our money around the village. Some people are obviousy hard to please if they are ooking for 5 star accommadation they are visiting the wrong resort. We have booked the Little Prince again for 2012 and would recommend it to anyone who might want to stay there

Thanks everyone for your help, we would have gone for Athina or Thomas Bay if there had ony been 2 of us but there are now 3 of us so it does become more expensive with having to pay single room supplement. We have now booked LP. The total cost was  not much more than what we paid last year by booking independantly, although we were getting a good deal from Nikos, for the appartment we were paying a lot more for flights. Roll on 26 August.

Thanks Jimbo, thats really helpful. We have had a few meals at the Little Prince and had a look around the pool area but we never got to look at any of the rooms. I think I will just about manage the stairs after a few Mythos.

Information and help please / Restrictions on packing food items
« on: August 24, 2010, 02:19:22 PM »
I have been asked a question from someone who is travelling to Corfu on self catering holiday. Are there restrictions on what food items they can pack in their suitcase, eg Cooked meat, Bacon, Cheese etc. We don't bother doing this so I am not sure what answer to give them other than contacting the airline they are travelling with.

Information and help please / Re: advanced passenger information
« on: August 23, 2010, 09:49:13 PM »
Thomsons require middle names, we ony picked this up late on. They are saying that all information should be submitted at least one week before travel. It would have been helpful if we had been sent an email. We only got this information second hand by someone who had picked up tickets at travel agents.

Hi guys

Apparantly this is now a uk borders requirement, we are fying with Thomson on 30th Aug and have ony just been tod this. We found this out from someone who called into the travel agent to pick up their tickets. We booked online and have not had any emails from Thomson requesting this information. I went on to the Thomson website and submitted the info that they were askng for. It does say that if they do not have passenger updated information that you could be refused travel. Not very good communication from Thomson
