Just saw this post, what a great shame!
Robbie was one of our pleasures when we stayed at the Kapetanios.
Our thoughts are with Tsasos and family.
Rest In Peace big lad, we'll miss you.

Kate also has a small breakfast menu if you want to order something other than (or as well as) the spread Waspman described. The menu stuff comes with a small charge obviously (except my octopus on toast!!!!), a full english was only about 2.50 euros.

Kostas from the Romanza suggested that if the return bus is full or you've just missed it, instead of paying 50-ish euros for a taxi all the way, get a bus on a different route which goes at least part way (he named a village beginning with K but I can't remember it), enjoy the village then get a taxi from there.

A lot cheaper and you get to see more of Corfu.

Romanza air-con was 35 per week, our towels were changed too many times to bother counting and they received a brand spankin' new shipment of them while we were there.

If they're not at the Beachcomber when you drop by, we've seen them eating in Yiannis Grill (takeaway opposite Atherns Bar) a few times !
