As we are travelling out separately this year I'd booked our outward flights a while ago and yesterday thought I'd get round to booking our return ones. Went on the Jet 2 site and as I was booking one way from Corfu the price came up in Euro's - 510. I switched the currency to sterling and it dropped to £503. I chose to pay in Euros and my account has been debited for £436!! Worth looking at the different options as that has just paid for my transfer from SS to the airport!

We fancy spending a night in Corfu Town next year - any recommendations for a hotel? Would be looking for one in easy walking distance of the bus station. Thanks in advance.

We will be going to Kassiopi for a night during our stay and I fancy a detour to Old Perithia. I just wanted to ask what the road up is like as we will be on quads and don't fancy a death ride ha!

Just got back from a (as always) wonderful week. One thing that surprised us was trying to cash travellers cheques (we had some left from last year) - the commission required varied from 5euro per cheque to 3% - a big difference from previous years. Noula explained that it was due to not many places accepting them any more which was definitely news to us. Just worth bearing in mind if anyone was planning on taking them this year!

We are staying at Teresas for the first time - do they have aircon and if so is it the usual price of around 5 euros a night? I find it really useful and want to make sure I have the cash when I arrive to get it ha!

Jackie & I are thinking of hiring a couple of quads for a day in August and I was looking for suggestions as to where to visit? Want to try somewhere a bit further afield than Arrilas and Sidari but not too sure how far you can really look to go in a day so any suggestions/experiences would be appreciated.

We normally fly from manchester but for next year I have looke around and Jet 2 from Leeds seem to be aboot £400 lower in total for the three of us. I have never used them before and wonder what other peoples experiences have been. The saving seems almost too good to be true!!

We are about to book accomadation for next August but having missed out on San Stef for the last two years are not sure when you can start looking for flights. Can anyone give us an idea of the best time to start searching and is it best to book early or wait a bit to see if the prices fall?
