It completely depends on your circumstances. We have already booked our flights for next June because we don't want to risk losing that particular flight time and date from our local airport.

If it about pricing, I doubt that there will be much difference as you get nearer to your date of departure.

Booked for 10 days only next August at Jasmine. Couldn't manage any longer due to other commitments.

... coming in from the North and looking like it will hit Corfu very soon :o !

It did and it was very dramatic. Would like to order another one for next year, please.

Kamini has lots of regulars - many of them locals or people who've been going there for donkey's years. And just a few steps away are: Nafsika, Mistral, Beachcomber and Fantasia.

We've had a lot of good meals this holiday from all over - not going to reopen that debate - but I have to say that the meal tonight at Fantasea was incredible. Worth the extra few metres to walk.

Hi
We also arrived on Friday 13th from Manchester with TUI.
We bought fastrak tickets for security (£5 each) and were through in minutes.
The resort is much busier than last year.
We walked from our apartment at Paralia to Manthos on Saturday night (about 20 minutes walk) only to be asked if we had booked as they were full !!
Extremely hot here too x
I waved at the webcam on Saturday if anyone noticed xx

It was busy at a lot of places on Saturday. We had the same reaction at the new Casa Nostra, so booked for Monday. Luckily, we could get into Mistral
Can't compare to last year as we couldn't make it but yes, it is very hot.

Hi all. Arrived yesterday from Manchester with Jet2.
Checking in was efficient as they dealt with all the paperwork. Security however was a nightmare and took far longer than check in to get through. About an hour.
Departure delayed by an hour, for the pilot to finish his breakfast probably!!

Corfu Passport Control very smooth. Didn't see any random testing going on. Whether that is due to the numbers now arriving, is pure speculation on my part.
Met by San Stefanos Travel with a minibus and 4 very welcome bottles of water. Just over an hour later, we were 'home'. Why did we ever leave?

Spent the afternoon catching up with familiar faces and reaquainting ourselves with the cuisine.
Cocktails at 3W, followed by dinner at Little Prince.

Spent day relaxing today and recharging the batteries. Tomorrow is a feast day in Corfu (bit like a bank holiday for us), Assumption of the Virgin Mary and Name Day. So expecting lots of locals and families to be out and about this weekend.

Yammas, all

Forgot to mention that we also called into the surgery to book our test for the return home. Wanted an appointment as early in the day as possible.

Where to stay / Re: Rose Gardens

Hi, we stayed there 4 years ago. At that time, there was no hair dryer in the room.

Lovely place run by lovely people.

This is our 2nd stay at Barras. We were originally booked for the Kappy but after staying here in May we changed it for a more central location. It's a great place.... The family are superb and the food is great. They do amazing lunchtime pizza!
The Greek night is superb and I'd urge anyone to give it a go

Quite agree. Turns out we were sat on table next to you, Gav, I didn't work it out until I saw the pictures that you were taking. Maybe next time, I'll lean over and say hello.

We've spent last few days exploring and days out.
Corfu Town; As incredible as I recalled from 30 years ago. However, back then I came out of season. This time it was very hot and much busier. Would recommend for anyone to visit.
Aqualand: Really enjoyable day. 2 New slides installed since 3 years ago with another planned, so they seem to be investing. Good for any aged families.
Agios Stefanos: This North East pretender is not a patch on the NW version. Seriously though, unless you have lots of money and want to be seen spending it, I can't see the appeal in staying there. But that's only my opinion, it's still worth an afternoon visit.
Kassiopi. Beautiful. Well worth a few hours and a meal round the harbour side.

Last couple of days Will be spent relaxing at the pool or beach.

Here's to next year.
