Hello folks. Sorry to mention taxi transfers again as I know everyone is totally fed up with the subject but feel new people to SS or people who are going to use a taxi transfer for the first time should be aware of this. We always book flight & accommodation by ourselves and book a taxi using Lesley at Vicki. If we go next year, due to circumstances we may have to use a TUI package.
To our horror when we looked at a package, the taxi transfer was quoted at £223. As everyone who uses a taxi will know this is an absolute disgrace.
So be aware and use Lesley or other local companies - you will be pleasantly surprised at their quote. 

Just looking at TUI for 30 Aug for 7 days. Site says 100 rooms. Is this correct as does not look that big any time we have passed. Can anyone confirm. Can anyone also advise if any good.

Hello Folks. Going to Rose Garden on 30th for 2 weeks. My wife has been on Google Maps and has found a wee taverna called the Night Owl between Arillas and Agios Georgious. Has anyone been there and would you recommend it. Lunch or Dinner? Thank you for any info.

We also used to partake in a few Mythos. Must agree that it is now too explosive. We changed to Alfa which is really nice. However since discovering Corfu Beer a number of years ago there is no competition. Corfu Red  is the closest we have ever come to a real Scottish Heavy beer anywhere we have ever visited in Greece or her Islands. Can't wait for June at Kiki's (Rose Garden).

Has anyone stayed at the Olympia Apartments recently?   Looking for an idea of what they are like e.g. cost , noise level at night given position and are they directly above the restaurant or situated behind the restaurant?  What is the access like as have a dodgy hip and don't want a lot of stairs?  Any info would be great thanks.
