Hi,  just thought I'd enquire about any possible fishing trips you can book from San stef. or even whether you could buy/hire a rod from somewhere.  I'm a long time visiter to the village and have absolutely NO interest in fishing.. but my father, brother and his family have decided to try San stef  and my father in particular keeps asking me if there's somewhere he can fish.or any trips. so here I am.. asking.  any info I can pass on would be gratefully received. Thanks :)

Chris

Out and About / Re: How I found San Stefanos.!!!
« on: May 03, 2015, 12:49:23 PM »
Having stayed in Arillas a couple of times and always walking to SS for a meal at least one night we decided to book a holiday there the following year this will now  be our third year in the village. Although we have holidays in other Greek Islands we  try to make it back to SS for at least one week. We like to eat out each night and try as many restaurants as possible so self catering suits us and where we stay has only 4 apartments and 2 studios so not busy a "real chill out" place. I think it's the peace and quiet, good food and the friendly villagers that brings us back.
couldn't of put it better myself!

Great review Karen, we're still here, last night tho but do have most of tommorow in the sun before we have to leave :( pretty sure myself & Charlotte saw you and you husband (rucksack) off to the beach a few times. But a little to shy to say hi in case we got the wrong people haha.. Anyway very happy with stamatis! And especially how quiet the pool is :-)) right well it's time for lunch so we're off to glens for a tuna sandwhich.. P.s it rained ever so slight last night for 5 or 10 min while we were on our way to OzzyOils for dinner. Which is unusual! But soon cleared.. Charlotte is already on iPad looking at next years Hols back here lol.. Crs & Charl

Welcome to the forum!  We will also be staying at Stamatis from 27th June for 2 weeks.  This will be our 9th visit, we love it there. Tom (owner) is very friendly and helpful if you have any concerns.  We hope you enjoy it there, as we have over the years.  We will look out for you.  We are the one's who don't rise until about 11am and make our way to the beach (hubby carries a big rucksack!). :) Karen & John
I'm sure we will enjoy it thanks :) we'll keep an eye out for you too and the big rucksack, Well,. when I say "we" I mean Charlotte as I've usually got a book and one hand and a beer in the other :-D  Chris & Charlotte
