Good news for the people of Teesside and surrounding areas, and don't mean to be rude Lesley but it is actually called Teesside International. It will be good to not have to travel to Newcastle or Leeds.

I believe you only get 3rd party insurance with the quads, not sure if you can upgrade.

Glad all is well again, I was getting worried that we would not get any more updates. Like the new layout by the way. Keep up the good work and thanks for a good forum.

You could always do it dressed in your Ghandi outfit Jimbo.

We are at the Romanza on 14 July and we have 20 kgs as usual. Got a bit worried when we read the initial post, so double checked on the my Thomson page and it showed as 20. So was pleased when the e tickets came and confirmed it.

Interesting subject, yes things maybe tight, but our reason for going to Corfu (our 10th year in San Stef) is the friendliness of the people themselves which in my opinion is second to none. The more we return must be better for them. 8)

Information and help please / Re: Quad Hire.

I agree with Waspman, we have always used Spiros bikes and get a good deal, normally for 10/11 days.
I would get there early to make sure you get one though, he has been known to run out of quads quickly.
 8) Enjoy your hols.

Where to stay / Re: Romanza Hotel
« on: July 10, 2013, 09:43:49 PM »
Well said Cerys, this year will be our 9th year of going to the Romanza, in all our time going there we have not come up against anything like this. no matter what time of the day that we go round the pool area we have always managed to get a sunbed, even when we have left the pool area and returned later there was always sunbeds free. All i can say is roll on monday so we can get back to our favourite holiday destination.
Chill out folks. ;)

Hi Julied
I agree with Yiannis, as long as you take it easy it`s not a problem, we are there July 15th for our 9th time and although we now use a quad bike, we still walk it now and again. If you do find it a bit much i would advise you not to use the beach path, that is a killer.
